Chapter 1
Candy pov
My name is Candy Moore. This is how my life started.
I was listening to the song Pillowtalk By Zayn, when I heard the doorbell ring. I ran downstairs to open the door and saw my younger sister; Bree boyfriend’s Robin was standing with flowers in his hands and smiling. I frowned at him at him because my best friend, Liz said he was a playboy and that’s someone who likes to too cheat with way to many girls.
“Hi, Candy”, Robin says.
“What are you doing here, Robin?“, I mumbled.
“I finally asked your sister on a date” he said amused with himself.
“Bree!” I shouted upstairs. ” You have a date! Get down here!”
I heard heels clicking down the stairs and turn to see my sister in a dark short navy dress. Hold on! Scratch that. MY NAVY DRESS.
“Hi, Robin” Bree giggled like a stupid school girl.
“Have a fun time Bree, don’t forget we have school tomorrow.So, Robin bring her back before 10 OK!” I said with authority.
“Yes, Ma’am ” Robin said quickly.
“OK, bye Candy” Bree said, but then turned around and gave me a dirty look which is to say that this not over.
Tomorrow is the 2nd week of school and I already know that Thompson High School is a very cool school.
Anyway I forgot to tell you my secret: I LOVE to sing and dance.but mostly like to dance.
It’s a secret because my family is on track and they expect me to stay silent and do everything they ask for just because we’re rich. So I tried a place at my school and came across the library and saw no one. I was practicing for a while then the door came open and one of my library tutors; Mrs.Brown came in and saw me and applaud .But since then she continues to help me in the library with my homework in you know what I mean.
THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL .............
I was so excited for my “after school club” that my mom and dad agreed.
RING
That was the school bell for dissemination. I took my stuff and practically sprinted out of Literacy. I waited in the bathroom until the bell rang. After I had to see if ALL the halls were empty so I could start practicing. After the after school bell rang I went to the liberary and got my laptop hooked up to the Smart board. I needed to update my songs on there. Some of the songs I have on there is Sorry, Rolex, Super Bass, Cold Water, and a good classic Attention by Charlie Puth. I just picked Sorry because it energetic even though I don’t like Justin Bieber. I started to dance and the I heard someone clear there throat. I quicky turned around and saw that it was Liz, I just gave her a dirty glare.
“You scared the hell out of me!” I said a little breathless.
" Like I said before, you should not hide your talent! You could be like Beyonce and JZ backup dancers.” Liz tried to tell me smiling.
“Thanks Liz, but if my parents except me to be like a doll and do nothing but finish school and have a love life so they can have grandchildren ” I said almost laughing, but Liz beat me to it.
" Anyway let’s go home” I said in tears from laughing.
" OK let’s go” Liz agreed with tears too.
We grab our stuff and said good bye to Mrs.Brown ( who was on guard) and we rounded the corner and I bumped into a guy. My stuff fell on the floor.
" I’m sorry! I didn’t see were I was going” I stammered
The guy bend down to help, then I noticed that it wasn’t any guy. The person who helped me was Flynn Conner the school 2nd hottest guy and a really good violinist.
“No, it was my fault really. I wasn’t really seeing were I was going.” He said in a sexy voice. Stop that brain not good thinking.
We said our good-bye and departed. When I reached outside Liz started gigging uncontrollably.
“What!?” I asked.
" You...... And....” She tried to say. I just rolled my eyes and started to walk to my house.
When I reached there I went into my bag to take my keys out, and heard faint crying. I open the door and then went upstairs to hear my sister crying .
“Bree! What’s wrong?” I asked worried that probably knew what happened.
“Robin was cheating on me this whole time. Yesterday night we went to that restaurant and I had to use the bathroom and when I came out he was there with another girl kissing her face off. I didn’t even do anything to stop him, I just left!” she explained heartbroken.
“OK did you do it with him,Yet?” I asked in a hushed whisper not wanting our strict parents knowing.
" We almost did then you called me! Thank you for that, too”she said.
" No problem! How long were you won’t him?!” I asked a little angry with myself for not paying attention.
" For at least a year and a half,Candy! A YEAR AND A HALF! Candy, I’m tired” She exclamied.
“Ok! We’ll talk tomorrow” I said before I turned off the lights.
“Good Night, Candy” She whimpered.
“Good Night ,Bree” I said softly.
I went to my room and put on my earphones that was in my phone and heard the What About Us By P!nk and drifted asleep.
