The strength within

“Angel!!

Angel!! Wake up!

You are late .come on wake up now.”

I wake up to the sound of my mother waking me up like every other day and like almost every other day I don’t remember how I fell asleep .

I fresh up and go downstairs only to see that my family members are already seated.

“Good morning sis,“wishes my brother Ace,who is just two years younger than me. After wishing him and my parents I proceed to have my breakfast.

“How was your sleep?”

I lift my head to see that my dad is waiting for an answer.“It was great dad thanks for asking.Can u drop me off at school, I don’t wanna be late .”

“Bye mom, bye Ace ,love you both” I shout while getting in my dad’s car.School is just 10 min away but i didn’t feel like walking today.“Thanks dad”

“No problem sweetie,have a great day”

“you too dad” I whisper but he left already.He works as a physics lecturer in college.

Time to enter school well in my words hell.I keep my head down while walking through the halls and im quite happy that im going to finish school this month.I always try to be alone and im very insecure till now i havent made proper friends cause people tend to leave me for one reason or the other.So i dont bother anymore.I collect my books from the locker and go to my first class.

As usual sit alone in a corner table in the cafeteria. Because i hate being the center of attention. I’m insecure .People usually compliment me that i look good but no one knows why i’m this insecure and kind of closed off. Some think that this is a normal teenage phase well as for the others i don’t know.As i look around i see a bunch of girls from my class sitting across.They take a look at me and start whispering to each other maybe thinking about how much of a freak I am.

I stop paying attention to them and start on picking my food. “Angelica Evans is requested to meet the principal” a voice calls from the speaker.” What did u do this time freak ?” one of the girls shout ,“well I just hope she gets expelled this time” mutters the other.

I start moving towards the principals cabin and wish her as i open the door.

“Hey mom!!”
