"This novel was not at all what I expected. The story was unique and unusual and definitely worth the read. I initially had some difficulty getting past my desire to edit minor things, but once I got into the story I wasn't disappointed in the time I dedicated to it. The characters grabbed my attention, even the ones that I found difficult to sympathize with. In terms of writing style, the way that the characters and setting come alive remind me of the earlier works of Stephen King, and Hunter Shea. I recommend this story to those seeking something a little different with elements of horror."
