Love at first paragraph

"I'm new to Inkitt,-may I add, later on I will not be new. This actually reminds me of good (lie) not so ol' high school days. This is so great! I've read this, and I'm aching for another chapter. The feelings that they scream through the 'pages', is too good. This weirdly made me cry. (I'm always crying because of books.) This is the first Inkitt book I've actually finished, and is waiting for it. "

Awesome sauce!

"I went to high school a while back and was able to revisit it in this book. The emotions, conflicts, and triumphs kept me turning the pages. Who is cool in high school? And what makes them cool? Why do we care? This book blends the turmoils of high school and the turmoils of life with perfect balance, keeping you wanting more, and helping you find your cool."

can't. stop. reading.

"This is amazing. It's totally realistic - cool girls have flaws, too, okay?? Totally awkward girl picks up her mom's old bass from her garage, messes around, and realizes, hey, maybe I can move on after all. She has moments where everything's hopeless for her, after all, an alcoholic dad and a flakey best friend do that to you, right? But she ends up where any perfectly awkward high school girl would be - on stage in front of ten thousand people. Or does she?"

Amazing

"Speaking as a teenage girl who's recently left school and has a passion for music-making, this story really resonated with me. Never before have I wanted more to be in a band! This story will make you laugh and cry and groan as the main character takes you through the whirlwind of dating, making friends and surviving high school. However, I think what really makes this story worth reading is the things that I've never experienced (e.g: the American schooling system, an alcoholic family member, my mother's death etc.) but felt just as strongly through Maggie Blackman. If the main character experiences it, you do too and it is completely believable."

Pure Rocking Awesomeness

"I devoured this book. I literally read almost the entire thing over the course of a six hour cross-country flight because I could not put it down. And I even read it ON MY PHONE. Which is pretty much the worst possible way to read something. But I just couldn't stop. Seriously, pick this book up and you will be transported back into all of the wild amazing awkward awesomeness of first dates, fumbling through art, transformational grief, and having your self-consciousness meter dialed up to 25 on a scale of 1-10. I could go on, but all you really need to know is that you absolutely must go read this book RIGHT NOW. Why are you still here?"

Not a complete story

"I read this story in my precious free time only to find out it is incomplete and I would need to pay to finish it...not cool. You should really state that at the start of the story. I will not purchase your book, but good luck in your endeavors."
