"I've never met such such a.." she trailed off. "Such a what?" He taunted her, loving how red she got from just a word. "A jerk," she wheezed out. This isn't how I thought my life would be, this isn't what I expected. But does anyone ever really expect life? Do we expect everything we know about ourselves and the world around us to no longer be...right? How does one cope with the fact that everything they knew or thought they knew to turn into something they'd never be able to imagine. I was once a girl with no parents, no memory of the past and a dreadful feeling inside me that scratched the surface when it wanted to remember something but couldn't. I was the who worked at a tailor with my best friend and her mother. How did it all change?

Prologue #1

Out in the middle of The Surging Sea, an island appeared. The island lay, cast aside from other continents; its borders surrounded by large hurricanes spinning around rapidly; waiting for someone to ensnare.

A young prince lay sleeping in the tower built by brick. This was his prison, his eternal resting place. All he wanted was to leave this, to be free.


But the mages wouldn’t let that happen. To them, he was a disease. To them, he was dangerous. To them, he was a curse.

Everyone thought that by keeping the prince locked up would be the end, but little did they know that by imprisoning the young boy, they were calling to live the monster that lived within him.

A vicious beast that sought to control and destroy. A creature that craved power and vengeance.
