Chapter 1

KIM TAEHYUNG

He groaned again as light streamed into the living room. All his hyungs were lazily making cups of coffee and switching on the T.V.

He grabbed his mug and looked around for Jimin. He always made his coffee.

He, at first, had been skeptical about having to join the band and live with six other guys. But he knew that he wouldn’t regret this decision. Ever.

“Dongsaeng?,” he called out, thrusting his mug onto Jungkook.

“Why, hyung, I thought your Chiminie would. He does every day-” he broke off for a second before smirking again “-but you poor hyung.”

“Why?” he questioned, their little conversation having garnered a lot of followers.

“Ooh!,” exclaimed Suga, jumping onto his back, “Your Chiminie?”

“V loves Jimin! Hoseok will be angry, Taehyung,” quipped RM, as he leaned against the fridge, eating a bowl of fruit.

V rolled his eyes and sunk into the bar stool next to his dongsaeng and glared at him.

“Jeon Jungkook, just tell me where Jimin’s gone to, please? And seriously, I am extremely straight,” addressing the last part to his best friends who were minding their own business. (None of them knew how to act.)

“He-uh-went to get his sister.” Silence fell like an extremely thick blanket that could be cut by a knife.

They all knew for a fact that V-ssi did not know how to react near a pretty girl. The git, that he was, he had crushes on the worst sorts of girls. The um, provocative ones, to say it simply.

On the other hand, V was very surprised. Jiminie had a sister?

“He has a sister?”

Ho-Seok just stared at him and snorted. “Seriously, V? Have you not seen OR heard Jimin talking about her for the past month? It’s always Oh I’m going to take her to Chang’s or I don’t want my little sister to be near you hormonal weirdoes. She’s still a child. And not to mention, how he’s been re-decorating the room for two weeks now. By the way, where were you during all of this, Taehyung?”

V opened his mouth and made an alien-y sound. The best way to get out of these situations, act like you have the attention span of a spit wad.

“You know what? We’ll just wait until they get here. Ok? And guys, play nice, Jimin hyung is very very very particular about his sister.”

“Like we’re anything other than perfect gentlemen,” V remarks, as everyone around him breaks into laughter with him.

Besides, Jungkook had better things to worry about. Like how Jimin hyung would kill him if he came to know about Jae and his friendship.

“Now we just sit and wait for your extremely possible and imminent death, Jungkook. We just sit and wait,” whispered Jungkook, as he sipped his coffee that had gone cold.
