Silver Blood

Aika’s POV

“Aika and Aiko you need to get out of here!” Shouted Yuki. “I can’t hold him off for much longer, so you two need to go!”

“I’ll open a portal and I won’t know where in time you are. So take your brother Aika and go , I love you.”

Aiko and I were pushed into a white light and we never saw our mother again. Then, everything went black.

A few hours later......

I woke up to something cold landing on my face and the earth beneath me was cold and wet. There were many trees surrounding me. I was passed out in a forest, in the white powdery snow. I don’t have the slightest clue where I was. Where ever I was I can’t exactly get up yet, I feel so weak.

I’m here laying on the forest floor just trying to regain my strength. I finally notice my brother Aiko isn’t with me. I started freaking out.

“Aiko where are you!” I called out for him. There was no answer just silence. I called out and shouted more to the top of my lungs, still no answer.

A few minutes later, I start to get some of my strength back. I stood up and started looking around to see if he’s still passed out somewhere.

“Aiko answer me. This isn’t very funny, you know,” I said. Still no answer. “Aiko, please, I don’t want to be alone.” I said almost to tears.

I remembered that him and I have that twin bond, so I know we’ll find each other soon, hopefully. So I walked in one direction and never looked back. (Ok, first priority, need to figure out where the hell I am).

“Wait.... a minute this forest seems very familiar to me. This is the forest my home is in, that means it’s not far away. Aiko might be there.”

I start running through the forest to find my house, but it looks like a war happened. There’s blood everywhere staining the snow. I start walking cautiously towards the front door looking at all the remains on the white ground. I get to the door slowly turning the doorknob to open the door.

It was dark and quiet, like a creepy quiet. I go through the door way slowly, not letting my guard down for one second. (I could really use a weapon right about now). I went further into the house finding nobody.

“Aiko are you here you? Aiko,” I called out. No answer.

I looked around more on the main floor, then moved onto the second floor searching through every room, closet, and corner. Still nobody. (Well this great he’s not even here). I walk down the stairs back to the main floor. (Ok there’s at least got to be a dagger or something somewhere in this house of horrors).

I walk around more went through a few more rooms and closets to find one little dagger and an outfit.

(Yes these will do nicely). I put on the outfit and put the dagger at the side of my right thigh. I come out of a room I was in and start walking towards the door, just barely remembering there is a basement and I haven’t checked it yet. I step down the stairs to the basement smelling blood and lots of it.

I made it into the basement hallway covering my nose because of the strong smell of blood. I go down the hallway a little bit more, still being on my guard. My eyes have gotten used to the darkness, seeing blood smeared along the walls.

“Hello is anyone down here? If so call out,” I said shouting down the hallway.

I actually hear something this time, a low ‘over here’. I walk faster towards whoever said that and find a pool of blood and a woman.

“My God, are you alright,” I questioned. I rushed to her aid to see if she is ok.

I kneel down to place her head on my lap. I brush her hair out of her face. (Grandmother)?

“Hey stay with me here! What’s your name,” I asked her.

“Juri Kuran,” she answered.

It is my grandmother and she’s hurt badly.

“Well don’t worry Juri I’m here to help you. I’m Aika,” I said.

I sat there in the pool of blood trying to keep her awake. I know that she isn’t going to make it, but at least I can be here. I don’t like the fact that my grandmother is dying in my arms. Juri then grabs my hand and starts to say something.

“Thank you,” she said then died in my arms disappearing into dust.

“Nooo! How could Great Uncle Rido do this,” I started crying.

All there was left was her pink dress she loved wearing. I held onto the dress clenching it to my chest and crying. I then heard a door, so I quickly hide around a corner, grabbing my dagger ready for whoever is coming. The footsteps were getting closer and louder. I stand my ground ready to attack who’s getting closer to me.

I breathe calmly waiting for it to round the corner. The person did exactly what I wanted to I took him slammed him against the wall holding my dagger to his throat.

“Who are you,” I questioned?

“I wondered the same thing. You’re pretty strong for a girl,” he said.

“Please answer my question before I cut your throat and watch you bleed out,” I demanded.

“Threatening me now, are we,” he said.

He seemed familiar. That smart ass attitude of his sounds like my brother. But I can’t see him clearly to make sure, it’s too dark.

“Aiko is that you,” I questioned?

“Yes the one and only my love. I never thought my wife would put a dagger to my throat and threaten me,” Aiko said.

I drop my dagger to hold him into an embrace. I started crying nonstop, digging my face into his chest. He put his arms around me putting his hand on my head.

“Hey it’s ok now I promise. I’m here now and not leaving you ever again,” he promised me.

I took my head off his chest. To him cupping my face and started kissing me. He pulled away first.

“Let’s get out of here,” he insisted.

We made it out of the house walking through the cold night. It was still snowing pretty good.

“Aiko where were you,” I questioned him?

“Well I woke up somewhere in the forest near the house,” he said.

“I was a pretty far distance from the house, but I remembered the forest and went and found the house,” I told him.

“Aiko do you know where we are, like time whise,” I looked at him and questioned?

“No I don’t, but we’ll find out sooner or later Aika,” he answered.

We both continued walking thorugh the forest and just to make it better it’s snowing really hard again. I stopped to look up and the moon it’s full and bright. I hear Bewolves howling, so I start walking. (I’m not ready to fight Grimm already. When are my powers coming back, I feel defenceless, weak, and scared for once).

I wispered to Aiko. “I sense a human, vampire, and a Pureblood.” “Yeah so do I,” he said.

We looked around, then walked more towards a meadow. I then spot two figures. I elbowed Aiko to get his attention. There’s a little girl and a man, but I can’t exactly make it out clearly because of the snow coming down. The girl appears human, and the man does not. I see the girl fall to the ground and the man seems to be hurting her in someway.

“Aiko! She being hurt we need to help her now. She can’t protect herself,” I said worried. Before I even gotten a feet away from Aiko he stopped me, putting his arm in front of me.

“Aiko what the hell are you doing?! She needs help!” I started to fight him a bit while he picked me up.Then I look up and all the sudden, a boy a bit older than the little girl kills the man.

“Wait Aiko is that...?” “Yes it’s mom and dad, but younger. Kaname Kuran and Yuki Kuran,” he said.

“Aika we better go, now,” he damanded.

He took my arm and started walking very fast. Away from them.

“Aiko what should we do! We’re in mom’s and dad’s past, we can’t tamper with anything or it will change our future,” I said still being dragged by Aiko.

“I know love, I know. But we need to get away from mostly dad before he notices us.” Aiko warned. “But dad has never met us before, remember him being incased in a ice coven taking a 1,000 year nap.” I reminded him.

“Yes I do remember, but he can still figure us out. Dad is that good exspecially at this age. He’s now in charge of everything. What he’s going to do right now is bring Yuki to Grandfather Cross and she doesn’t have her memories.,” Aiko pointed out still pulling my arm running.

We kept on running not out of breathe. Then three women appeared in front of us, so we stopped in our tracks.

“Lady Aika and Lord Aiko, we’ve been notified about your sistuation by your mother, Yuki Kuran. Will you please come with us?” The woman in the blue dress asked.

“Who are you?!” I said hiding behind my brother.

“My name is Cordelia, this is Beatrix, and Crista Sakamaki,” Cordelia said.

“You’re The Sakamaki Family,” I gasped in shock.

“Yes we are. But you guys need to keep your identies a secret for awhile, that you can keep your cover. Ok so your new names are Rika and Riko Sakamaki,” she answered.

I nodded still holding onto Aiko, walking with the three women. I mind linked Aiko. (“I don’t like this brother,” I said). (Yeah, but at least we might be able to trust them Aika,” he answered”). I nodded again still being silent.

We came up to a manor, close to size of our manor. The gates opened and we went inside the doors closing behind us.
