Tangled In Moonlight

Pretty much the summary of the story lol: When Nymeria and her family gets kicked out of the WinterSky pack, she goes on the run. Her brothers new friends makes her constantly feel uncomfortable and her parents are always sour towards each other, She leaves a note for her dad and leaves the rogue house. She finds herself accidentally crossing onto enemy territory. The Moonlight Pack. Known for its name because it was named after the Moon Goddess because this one pack is tangled to all other packs around the globe. Have control of Moonlight pack and you have control of almost all the packs around the world. There she is thrown into a dungeon only to meet her prince charming, her soul mate, her mate, the soon to-be of the Moonlight pack, Greyson Woods. Join this story to find out what the antagonist is planning and how Greyson and Nymeria as well as there friends will do to fight against it. And not to mention see the love bond that forms between to wolves. This romance novel will knock your socks off! I hope ;)

Nymeria

I notice the tension filling the room as my mother makes the finishing touches to dinner. “So...how was work today?” She asks my dad. “It was good Marian” He says. I can’t help but notice he doesn’t call her “honey” like he usually does. “Good...Nymeria can you go fetch your brother from his room?” I look up like I wasn’t paying attention. “Yea sure mom” I said. She smiles sweetly and I start for the top of the stairs.

I scowl when I know I am not in her line of sight. I can tell she values Rodger, my brother more than me. All I can do is ignore it and be thankful my dad still loves me the same way he used to. I know my mom doesn’t mean to be intentionally rude...but she is. I knock on my brothers door. “Rodger?” I say.

No answer. I knock once more. No answer again. “If your in here I am sorry.” I say before opening the door. The room is empty. I raise an eyebrow in confusion. That’s weird...I could have sworn he was up no later than an hour ago...

I look at the window and see the curtains flying around everywhere. He must have left through his window. I don’t why he didn’t just ask mom to go for a run it’s not like she would actually say no.

I sigh and walk back downstairs and see Rodger and my mom eating. My dad is waiting for me. There’s and example of what I meant. I frown to myself. Once my dad looks at me a glimmer of happiness ruins the frown and I smile brightly. Even if my mother isn’t as into my life as she is for my brother, I know my dad is and that’s good enough for me.

“Mom this smells amazing!” I say and sit down. She slightly nods her head before returning to her conversation with Rodger. Where he came from...

My dad scowls and I whisper to him, “Its fine dad, you and I can enjoy dinner together” I say sweetly. He looks at me with sympathy in his eyes.

“How about tomorrow night you and I go out for a run during dinner and then bring home some Chinese food for us to share?” he says. The thought of a run causes my inner wolf to ascend.

A run!? I really, really want to run!!!

I laugh softly to myself, I know Natalie! I also want to.

My dad laughs knowingly at me and i blush. “Sorry Natalie got excited at the words run” I say. My mom looks up at me. “No Nymeria, you can’t run remember? I grounded you for sneaking out.” She said. My eyes widen. “What!? But that isn’t fair! Rodger gets to go out all the time! Even during the middle of the night! Going out to do only the Moon goddess knows what! But i sneak out one time to go get snacks for Sky and I and i'm suddenly grounded?” I say with my voice slightly raised.

my mother growls and suddenly so does my dad. I flinch and look at him expecting to see an angry face glaring down at me but instead i see him shooting daggers at my mother. “Tell her John!” She says to him. His eyes become slits and he growls a bit louder. “No, she is right your being unfair. If she is grounded so is Rodger.” He looks at Rodger who is glaring at me. “Rodger! No going out for a run for a month.” He says. Rodger looks up in disbelief which doesn’t surprise me one bit considering how much my mother babies him. He almost never gets punished.

My mother doesn’t like this idea so she starts yelling at my dad. “You know what John?! I think you need to step down and just let me deal with my kids.” She says. His eyes widen at the fact that even considered telling him not to discipline is own child.

I look around as i start to get confused. I see Rodger glaring daggers at me, and my mother and father yelling to oblivion about who is right and who is wrong. I just don’t understand how their disagreements could lead to this...they have a bond...it doesn’t make any sense to me. I scream for everyone to just shut up before walking up to my room an slamming the door loud enough to wake up pack members in their own houses.

I am sorry Nymeria...I know it must be hard to have to go through your parents disagreeing every 5 minutes like they are doing.

I don’t say anything back to Natalie, I am full aware of the fact that she knows how i'm feeling, because she probably feels the same thing considering she is apart of my soul.

I lay on my bed an wait for sleep to take over. In the mean time i'm praying my parents work out their differences.
