age get down here right now!¨ I cringed as I heard my fathers deep voice calling from the kitchen. I crawled up from bed grimacing as the memories from last night came back in a rush My wolf whimpered in the back of my head as we both remembered what had happened.

I walked home from the store taking a different path then usual so I could get home faster, but that idea backfired when I got home an hour late because I had gotten lost. My brother Felix was at home with our abusive dad and think about what could be happening right now made me pick up my pace. When I got home I seen my dad beating my brother I could smell the rage coming from him and tried to interfere but the tables turned to him beating me instead until he was too tired and I had passed out.

The pain had started when I started walking down the stairs I could feel it all over my body but it should heal sometime soon because of the wolf effects. As soon as I seen my fathers face I flinched as I seen no bit of remorse or guilt in his eyes he took in my bruised and broken appearance and laughed ¨weak little shit you barely took six punches,I bet when you find your mate he will hate you because of how weak you are, you are absolutely pathetic¨ ¨At least your brother could man up and fight back"He scoffed leaving me alone in the kitchen. I silently ate my breakfast and headed off to school.

I felt all of the stares as I walked onto the quad and heard the whispers of the other pack members ¨What happened to her?¨

¨ She probably got them in a fight by being weak and not fighting back¨

Suddenly I heard a laugh from farther down on the lawn and see the most gorgeous guy with dark brown hair,intense blue eyes, and just everything about him was beautiful The smell of pine and spearmint filled my nose like a summer breeze. And that was when I realized the this guy Christopher King,soon-to-be alpha, major dick was in fact MY MATE.
