Chapter 1
Yeongi's POV:
Hi! My name is Yeongi. I live in Korea with my parents before. I am the only child in my family. I just came back from America. Im glad that my father agreed to move back here in korea. Its been 5 years since the last time i came to korea.
My father bought me my own house close to my new school. Well they also will be going back to America leaving me here in korea because i asked them if i can stay and they said its ok. Well my childhood friend will be staying with me his name is Kim Seok Jin. His like my mom when his around me.
But its ok. When he heard im staying in my new apartment that was close to his new job he asked my parents if he can stay with me since his workplace is close by my school. So my parents agreed and now his here unpacking his stuff in his own room while i did the same in my room.
He said he had a dorm with his friends but he also wanted to stay with me. So what he did he told his manager that he will sleep in my house on weekends and on weekdays he will sleep at the dorm.
His manager agreed so i wont disturb him in his work and he wont disturb me in my studies. Hopefully his schedule wont be cancelled because of me. We planned our weekend for next week but for now its cleaning time and unpacking time too.
So after we had finished unpacking me and Jin were cleaning up the kitchen,living room, and the bathroom. We also cleaned our own rooms. After cleaning we both sat on the sofa of exhaustion. I have to admit it was really tiring.
“Jin? I have a question”
“Yes Yeongi? What is it?”
“do you really think that ill make a great first impression?”
“Yes i think you can even do better than great.”
“Really!?”
“Yes really. Now let’s go prepare dinner” he said ruffling my hair.
I set the table while Jin cooked dinner. He made sushi and ramen. He cooks for me even tho i know how to cook he still insist. After eating i washed the dishes while Jin wiped the tables. When we finished i went to take a shower and changed into my pj’s. Jin did the same after i got out of the shower. He said it is movie time.
After changing into our pj’s we went downstairs to prepare for our movie night. I prepared the snacks while Jin prepared the movie. It was fun beacuse we were watching a horror movie we both keep on watching not even take our eyes off the movie.
After the movie we fell asleep on the coach.
*Time skip - Morning*
I woke up because of the light that was in my eyes. Ouch that is really bright. I looked at what time it is and it 8:30! Shoot im late. I ran to my room took a shower changed into my uniform. Grabbed my bag and put on my shoes. I ran to school.
i went to the principal and asked for my schedule after that i ran to my classroom. I opened the door and the teacher and students heads turned to face me. Wow im nervous right now.
The teacher gestured me to come in and i did. “Please introduce yourself” said the teacher. “Hello everyone my name is Min Yeongi please take care of me” i said. I looked around and saw this 3 boys starring at me like im a cute bunny. “Ms. Min please take your seat beside Park Jihoon. Mr. Park please raise your hand” after that i saw a boy raising his hand so i went to him and took a seat beside him.
After that the teacher was writing some stuff on the board and i took notes. There are boys around me like im sitting in the center. My seat then there is a boy at my back and both my sides. It feels like there is someone looking at me but I just shrugged it off.
*TimeSkip - Recess*
I went to the cafeteria and bought a sandwich and went to check the school by myself. I looked around the garden the whole school. Until i got to the roof top. It had a nice view. I loved it here, you can see the whole school from up here. I sat down and ate my sandwich. Everything is perfect. I hope Jin had a nice day too just like me.
I plugged my earphones and listened to music. I listened to ‘Euphoria by BTS Jungkook’ i really dont know them that much but i swear my bestest friend forever looks like the Jin in their group. I had fun and heard the bell. I finished my sandwich and ran to my next class which is English. Im good at it since to went to states for 5 years.
Im proud because i was self tought. Impressed? If your not you should be because im pretty good at it which is like i self thought myself since i was a child but i didnt focus on that but then when i became older and older i began to speak in english like a normal American girl.
I listened to the teacher while my classmates had a hard time understanding. “Daehwi can you answer this question?” Said the teacher but no response. “Yeongi can you answer this question on the board?” Said the teacher. I stand up and said “yes i can miss” and went to the front to answer.
My classmates were shocked that i answered it. I now its shocking but please it was easy even a kid can answer it. Everyone is taking notes even if they cant understand it. After that the other classes went well too.
The First day of school is great. After school i went straight home. Then i had this strange feeling the i am being followed. I turned around and saw a black car. Huh thats weird but i just ignored it. So i got home safely. I thought Jin was there but he wasnt so i made myself food and ate it after that i did my chores and went to my room. I changes into my Pj’s and went straight to bed.
