Valentine’s day- A Season of Love & Romance, wherever u see whatever u see u can find a pinch of romance in it. How sweet ... It sucks!!!

Especially, if you are single! Your friends & family make it the goal of their lives to find the perfect match for you & then beings the endless attempts of setting you up & you know what’s worst? if there is a pregnant best friend who behaves like it’s her responsibility & birthright to find you your Mr. Right. I mean can’t a girl be happy on her own? Why do I need a guy in my life? Don’t get me wrong I’m not against love, In fact, I would be happy to fall in love but only when I find the “one” I hate this forced setting up thing. It is so sad, u might be sympathizing me. I know but what can u do?

Anyway, it’s me Cera an editor at a well-established web magazine & this is my dull life & right now I’m on my way to meet my Blind-date. yep, my best friend her name is Amy, by the way, has set me up for a blind-date & I can’t even say NO because she is pregnant, a piece of advice “never mess with a pregnant woman NEVER!!”

Those crazy hormones can drive u nuts!

Honestly, I would rather deal with this blind-date whom I might never ever see again than deal with her.. I pity her husband.

Back on the story, I’m almost at the café where my “Blind-date” is. I’m so excited (sarcasm alert)

So finally I’m here at the cafe to meet my “date”. Let’s just get done with this because based on my past blind dates experience this is going to be another disaster. yay!

As soon as I entered cafe my eyes were searching for anyone who was waiting for a date & to my luck, there were not many people at the cafe & the ones present there were already with someone.

Soon an amazing idea came to my mind, I could actually skip the date & say to my friend that I waited but he never showed up. With the newfound happiness, I turned on my heel & was about to make an exit when I collided with someone? I looked up only to meet the beautiful pair of brown eyes watching me with amusement. His one hand was around my waist while the other was holding my hand before I realize we were lost in each other. There was something about him that was making it difficult for me to look somewhere else.

Oh crap!! this is Steve, the guy I was supposed to have a blind date with & he saw see running out of the cafe. Oh god, I’m so embarrassed!!! But I have to say my friend’s choice has improved ;)

Is it really weird that I actually...kinda like this date?

I was thinking that I will be out of here within 30 minutes but here I’m it's been more than 2 hours & it has been quite good so far.

As he suggested we had a takeout from cafe & came to this small park nearby & this turned out into a sort of small impromptu picnic. I’m not complaining!

We have been here for so long but yet it feels like hardly any time is spent. I must say that out of all the dates Amy tried to set me up this one is the only one that actually turned out to be pretty good.

Until now, he has been a really sweet, gentle & decent guy. Ok, I’m not some stupid crazy girl who already fell in love & this is certainly, not love at first sight. What I’m saying is that he seems good & I don’t mind getting to know him more. But something seems off, I feel like the description of the Steve my friend gave & the one in front of me seems different.

According to her, he can be a bit moody & demanding but the guy in front of me is anything but that, from the time I have known him he has been caring & sweet even now playing with kids in the park he looks so innocent. Wait. You might be thinking why is he playing with kids leaving me alone? Right!

Well, when we were talking a small girl came & asked him to help her in swinging & after asking me if it is ok with me he went to help her & now a bunch of kids are surrounding him asking him to play with them. I don’t know what it is but his smile is warming up my heart. I have never felt anything like this before...

Well, to be frank, I have never listened to opera, but we can go it will be nice. I guess

Before heading to the theatre we make a stop at a food corner to grab a bite

After listening to opera for 1hr I can say that I’m not a big fan, it was nice...but just not my taste & oddly enough Steve doesn’t look like a guy who would enjoy it but his enthusiasm for opera was..umm... his occasion clapping & cheering was weird & something feels Off.

Anyway, after the theatre, we made a stop at a bookshop & many of our interests are same after that we did nothing special just walked around & kept talking, surprisingly we never ran out of topics. Even not doing anything special the day felt really special. I can’t even remember the last time I had so much fun but sadly every good thing has to end & so is our date & after having dinner we are now Outside my house but Steve looks lost
