Chapter 1: Weeping Willow
*Mateo's P.O.V*
I watch her from a good enough distance as she served the customers in the busy cafe she works at.
Her long brown hair curled to perfection. She wore converse and black Skater skirt with a floral tank top that shows her belly button and minimum cleavage. She could pull of any outfits with her delicious curves on her hourglass figure.
She grabs her purse and wave goodbye to her 'friends' that she works with. She stops outside the small cafe her skirt lifted due to the wind revealing her pinks lace lingerie that I imagine ripping off to devour her.
She began walking to the dangerous neighborhood she lives in with her alcoholic of a mother. I followed her making sure no harm comes her way.
Once she was inside the rusty old house that looks like it's about to fall apart at any moment.
I smiled as I think about my plan to have her in my arms one and for all. She would have all she desires, she wouldn't have to work every single day to provide for herself and worthless mother, she'd have name brand clothes and expensive cars and live in my luxurious house.
She'll be the queen she deserves to be. I promise.
*Willow P.O.V*
As I enter the old house I live with my mother, the familiar smell of Alcohol greet me. I sigh and pull my hair away from my face, walking into the living room.
"Hi, mom" I greeted her, she looks up at me with annoyance in her eyes something I'm use to after nine years of neglect.She rolls her eyes at me and return to smoke her cigarette and drinking her alcohol.
My mom wasn't always like this she use to be social, cheerful, and loving but that all changed on that dreadful day my father was killed in this very neighborhood by thugs when I was only eight. My mom and I were out of town to visit my grandmother my dad had to stay home to protect the house from intruders nut look where that got him, six feet under.
I shook my head in disbelief and bound up the stars to my small closet like bedroom. I curl up into a ball on the small bed that I've own since I was seven, crying for the life I once had, the awesome mom that was always there to comfort me, and for my loving dad that always knows what to say to make me feel better, but is no more.
I cry for the knight that will come and slay the dragon and set me free from my life filled with neglect, I cry because I know he's not coming what knight would come and save a peasant like me when he could save the beautiful and pampered princess that would promise him fortunes.
I cried till there were no more tear to fall, till my eyes were red, till my pillow was soaked, till I fell like I've cried enough then I got up and took a shower and changed into my nightwear and welcome sleep.
I shiver from the cold and open my eyes, I sat up and look toward where the cold his entering to see my window open which shouldn't be since I always keep it close to keep unwanted visitors from entering.
I quickly spring out of my uncomfortable bed and snap it shut being careful to not alert my mother, as I turn to go lay down something caught my eye. I pick it up and saw it was a envelope, I hesitantly open it and peer inside.I took the note out and read it carefully.
Cheer up, my love.
Although life may not be easy now,
in the end it's all worth it.
Everything will get better in time.
I promise.
I smile as I read the note, I may not know who wrote but it's still good to know that someones there, even though he may be my stalker.
I check the envelope for anything else like there usually is whenever I receive them. The first time I received a letter from him I freaked out but I calmed down when he promise to never hurt me and instead protect me.
My fingers come in contact with something could I pull it out and hold it in my palms to see that it was a rose gold heart necklace with silver infinite sign going through it with My Beautiful Willow, My Queen engrave in it.
I smile at the beautiful gift, usually I'd get small roses or chocolate, I even got a coupon for six slices of free pizza once.
I put the note and necklace back in my envelope and stuff it into my drawer, even though my mom never come into my room I'm still scared that one day she would, and when that day comes I'll be prepared.
