"Disjointed feeling. Your main character gets shot, is put into a medically induced coma and is in the hospital for some time. But in one sentence, you blow off why the person who shot Dan Dan will never spend a second in jail. And did so with a random “grease a few palms” line that wasn’t mentioned before or talked about after. The way you had the toddlers talking, especially at the trial, was so far beyond belief. That’s not how they speak. Then you want me to believe said little one goes into a courtroom full of strangers and talks like that? That whole chapter was so bad it almost became an unintended comedy. And you never explain why Callie’s husband is so hell bent on taking this child away other than to say he wants to beat the crap out of him. Too much dialogue with no explanations on why. Why is he the way he is? What happened to him that made him such a wife (and, apparently, child) beater. You have a very sweet love story from two life long friends who realize they love the each other. I love the Dan Dan quip; however, Stephy Bear is a letdown and should be reconsidered. You have two very good and well thought through main characters. The love they have is very believable. I kept wishing the secondary and ancillary characters had been as equally thought through."

Everything happens so fast and it's not what I expected. I get that you wrote this when you were young but you could have at least edited it or had a warning. Sorry but very unimpressed. "

"This book’s description interested me so I clicked on it as I’m a sucker for romance novels. I very soon figured out that the writing style was extremely childish and unethical. And the plot... well there wasn’t even a good plot to look forward to with how cliche it was. Overall not one of my favorite books to read."
