Chapter 1
Dani’s Haiku
Somethings in the air
Subtle, meek clues heighten cues
Time waits for no man
First impressions are like chess
Eyes reveal all truths
Protecting one’s heart like a rook,
Emotions swift.
Like winds that lift and dance leaves
Awaiting next move
For which move are you to make?
Standstill, or quick jump
I stand and wait with my rooks.
Hunger
Onyx sky and howling winds
In the season of the Harvest Moon
T’was the night of her fair game
She, no longer timid of their play
Pollux, Castor, and Polaris
Guiding his adored
Across the sands of Seychelles
Every step is to nirvana
His nerves assuaged
By her warm smile
Her hand, cradled in his
Moonlight kissed her caramel skin
The ocean roared
Announcing their presence
Ocean mist, chemise wet
Clinging onto skin
Curvaceous thighs
Breast, amble. Lips, sensuous.
Enthralled, desired.
His hunger, intensified
A canopy on the sands
Magenta linens,
Frankincense and Myrrh
Entwined with embrace and tongues
Bodies perfectly aligned
Like Pyramids with the cosmos
Gliding his fingertips gently
Ensues her freckles like stars
Heat, passion, and desire
Lie between hearts
Conics erect, elusive kisses
Teasing between lips and tongues
The spear and chalice union
Throbs and pulsates
Gentle souls, animal passions
Erotic, wild and vivid.
Interpreting her moans,
Allegro and Adagio,
His falsettos through minuets
Passage to heaven, avowed
Like movements in music
Stroking the depths of her soul
Rhythmically striking,
Forte.
Est ma lance de ce que vous y incitent?
Oui, il est ce que je languis
Alors je vais vous obliger
lentement, tendrement ma belle.
As if she was saving his soul,
His hard lance she seized on the tongue
Tip between lips
Tasting him, dying before her eyes
Pleasuring all
Of what makes him a man,
Kneeling before him
Submitting-at-will
Oh talented, her sacred tongue!
His mighty beast swells,
Tasting droplets of his milk
Entranced, oh is he!
The spell of her lips
Interned him,
Haunting flickers
Her apex, sensually wicked
In all might,
He to withhold
All that he holds
In swelled vessel
Whisk her in arms,
The position of Frombe
Awaits her.
Arched back, pillowed face
Her pink bow offered o’er
Oh prompt, was he!
Revisiting paradise, sensed anew
sweat-beaded skin
A strong steed
Legs firm, calves tight
Masculine hands grips
Delicate waist, wide hips
Moans now thunder
The mighty ocean, in unison
Crashing waves, hitting the shore
And back at sea, iterating their motions
As the Harvest Moon
Ascends from sea
The climactic scene, calm returns
Earth she sleeps again.
Skin
In the 7 month
Of a needed hour
Counting minutes-
The seconds to begin.
Not seeing my skin
And Yours
As different;
Call of action begins
Skin is not to divide
But unite
Like an eclipse;
Sun with moon
Unite mankind
Like a celestial event,
Shining stars
Falling to fulfill wishes
Skin is beautiful and soft
Like blooming cotton
Freshly plucked
Under Mississippi sun
Skin is the Canvas
For fingertips,
Stroked slow
For lasting impressions
Every freckle, dimple, and line
Housed on skin
Intricate and unique
Defines and refines us
The skin has no cause
For pain
Skin loves to be touched
To be kissed
To be missed
Skin loves to honor;
Faith and trust
Dedicated and valued
Skin is far more
Then you, she, he and I,
It’s bountiful and sweet,
Like humbled pie
If only the rest
Of Humankind
Could be kind
To each other’s skin
If moments in time
Could pause
For skin to
Be Free
Free of Judgement
Free of hate
Confusion, bigotry
And Delusion
Roam bare
From malicious eyes
And toxic whispers
Loving vs Virginia
For the skin we bear
Is of this moment
To protect hearts
And house souls
Embracing by sunset
And smile
Once more with
The rising sun
Loving the skin
Rules, no longer apply
Celebrating unity,
Joy falls, joy reigns.
