What is your opinion?

Her Elusive Plan

"Heart warming, funny, sad and deliciously delightful. I am disappointed as to what happened to Andy’s baby. Why Callum had leave with no word as to what was going on. A mystery or cliffhanger at the end. I sure hope the author finds a way to bring them back together. For the most part I 😍 the story."

Awareness

"I'm not done reading but I just want to commend you for raising awareness through your novel. And thank you too for I've learnt a lot up to where I'm reading. I have a friend with the illness, she did her surgery two years ago, and she had many challenges and had abstinence issues, precautions and all. There's a lot I wish to share but I don't have that right, somehow this novel has made me see more into her and other people challenges and understand a lot. Especially seeing how strong she is to face many challenges the illness brought. Thank you."

Loved it!!

"I really loved reading the whole book. The main protagonist, i.e. the female lead, is a character that I've related to the most in a book till date. She had many tough life-changing events happening in her life whereas I, fortunately, haven't had to go through that kind of gut wrenching experiences, but I so relate to her thoughts and feeling about a lot of things (not the wanting a child thing, but I think that comes with age). I'm someone who always likes to be in control of my emotions, but being a person who is truly emotional at heart makes that a very difficult thing for me to uphold. I often tend to avoid things that get the best of my emotions. One can say it's cowardly to do that and it may very well be, but I personally see it as me taking my time to recuperate and calm myself down so that I can come back to it and deal with it in a better way. Writing this reminds me.......she's a cancer too! I'm not gonna lie, the prospect of being in a relationship doesn't entice me anymore as it used to do at a point in my life. I don't really look for someone to like so far as to date them because I'd rather have them as lifelong friends than a few week's relationship. I also feel like I won't be able to cherish the person I'm in relationship with because of me being too self-sufficient and not being able to fill space with empty chatter. I feel like I'll make them feel ignored even when I'm trying my best to not make them feel that way. But I know it's not about me, it's about the book. The female protagonist actually made me dig up my own thoughts and insecurities and the prospect of a lonely future, which at the moment I feel okay with but maybe I won't feel the same way in the future. In which case, I think I'll adopt a child who needs a family. So....yeah...I thought all that while reading the story. I'm posting the same review for both the books as I just view them as being one. I didn't see many fluctuations in the quality of writing or the mood of the book. The only thing that's different about the second book is that it continues from where the first book left off. Other than that, everything else is a constant, which is very nice and it kept me interested in reading. I didn't even realise that I read close to 60 chapters of a single story, when I generally avoid reading stories that are that long. To be honest, I would've liked a few more chapters for the end of the second book. The author's writing style and characterization actually draws you in and makes you want to know more and read more. I loved the story itself but the writing style definitely contributed to a whole lot to the overall experience. I'll definitely check out other works of the author as well. "
