Prologue

" Your so ugly, I don't understand why you even try." They push me into a locker while they threw insults at me.

"Bye Vince McLoser." They walked away and locked me so I couldn't get out. I pulled out my phone and called my best friend, my only friend Jane.

She has been with me for as long as I can remember. She has been with me through the tough and sad times. She is also a ballerina so she always have this elegant and radiant aura about her. That is one of the many reasons why I've always have had a crush on her but she only sees me as a little brother plus from the way I look to they way I dress I'd doubt that she see anything but a nerdy brother.

"Vince are you in this one." Jane knocked on the locker. I knocked back not having the energy to talk. She opened the locker and helped me out.

"Man Vince one of these days I'm going to teach you how to stand up for yourself and I'm going to help." She said with confidence. That was also one of her many favorable characteristics I like about her along with her features.

She had pale fair skin that was flawless, she had raven hair that contrasted to the pale skin but went beautifully with it. She also had icey blue eyes to complete the whole look of elegance and beautiful. Plus she is shorter than me by 5 in.

"I-I-I'll try but I don't think that will help much I don't have much muscle. I'm just a scranny nerd boy with no friends." I said doubting myself.

"That is so not true you have me you doufus, and watch I bet you will grow up to be the most handsome and richest man the world. I have a gut feeling, and I will be the most famous ballerina in the world." She said with a smile and confidence laced in her words.

"Oh! I really have to talk to about something." Her smile was replaced with a serious look. When ever she was serious it always was important.

"So you know my dad and how he work as a photographer." I nodded. Her dad was a famous photographer and he travels a lot. She traveled from California all the way to Florida last year.

"Yeah so he has to go to New York for work and so." She trailed off looking to the side. And that's when it hit. She was moving away. She was moving away and I haven't even confessed to her yet.

"When are you moving?" I asked concerned. I hope it wasn't soon

She hesitated then looked down. She spoke.

"I move in 2 days. All my stuff is already packed we just have pack the small stuff and rent a truck." She said with sadness and disappointment in her voice. My heart broke, I can either confess to her today, tomorrow, or Friday.

By the time I worked up the courage to tell her how I feel. She was already gone. Her dad decided they should leave a day early. That they I regret most in my life.

Sorry if it's short
