Summary

Let the power play begin... When power holds the key to reach greater heights. Some might always loom in the corners to find loop holes and weaknesses in the powerful beings. Such was the history but it hasn't changed now also. Where the game and rules have changed, even the players are different from before. But, let's just keep in our minds that good and evil exists everywhere and it is better, if one keeps their mind open to everything and everyone.

Prologue

“ASIL”

Her head bowed as a sign of submission. But, those blazing amber eyes never settled on accepting a defeat so shamefully.

But for now, she had to play smart. Where each move, has to be well reasoned or she might end up digging her own grave through it.

“Like we’ve discussed there would be a severe consequence for such disloyal deed. There has been a serious consideration of giving decapitation, as a punishment for your crimes. Do you want to speak or defend something on that behalf?”

Her eyes snapped up to regard the speaker seated on his raised throne, although it wasn’t hard to recognize, the fury surging through him in waves. But taking that as an immediate sign to move ahead with the plan, she lowered herself to the ground with grace. While baring, her neck to a more primal way.

The animal inside clawed and scratched to break free from her clutches. While she struggled to have a hold on it, the lingering looks on her neck were driving the animal crazy. Subduing her animal a bit she eased her face and spoke,

" I, Asil Reyem, daughter of lord Bocaj Taht and lady Denim Wen, pledge to accept the punishment that the council would see fit for my crimes. But, not until Relyt Renovo is punished for his sins, that the council had, once left unseen for some unknown reasons.”

The whole room went dead silent maybe due to shock or surprise but, that didn’t last long as chaos broke out soon before anyone could react.
