Best Friends

Marissa, Beth, Carlos and Alex are best friends. By best friends I mean they are inseparable. They’ve been that way since kindergarten. It’s almost sixth grade and they’re still like peas in a pod.

Marissa is usually pretty happy but when she is not you better RUN. If looks could kill everyone would be dead. She also has an annoying little brother named Max. She describes him as “a little bundle of rage and sadness”.

Beth is athletic and can get emotional sometimes. She is a gymnastics legend. According to her, she only sleeps Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She has also been blessed with not one but two annoying younger siblings.

Carlos is a huge sports fan. He also loves roller coasters and always gets season’s passes to Disney Land. He also has an older sister whom he has no comment on.

Alex is both a nerd and a geek. He’s team captain of the trivia team. He famously said “I didn’t choose the nerd life, the nerd life chose me.” He is also an only child.

After school, Beth, Marissa, Carlos and Alex all chat on a video chat website called ChatUp. It’s kind of like their digital hangout space.
