Leave me

Summary

Jimin and Soomin has been friends since childhood. Soomin had everything she wanted, but she walked away. Jimin doesn't know why and tries to get her back, yet he doesn't realize he is the cause of it "You call yourself my best friend!?" He snaps back at the girl. "The last time I checked you ignored me," he starts to breathe heavily, "...abandoned me." Jimin could feel his heart beating a mile per hour. Never has he been this mad at her before, he made sure to always treat her with respect. Her breath hitches when the words leave his mouth. "No Soomin, you are not my best friend any longer. You hurt me too much to deserve that title. And you know what?" he asks, "I am not even together with her anymore. If you were really my best friend, you would've come to comfort me after my break up. But you never came." He was screaming now. Not only to raise his voice above the thunder, but because he wanted to. He wanted her to feel it. Feel it deep. She looked into his eyes for meaning, regret. But she can't find it as his eyes are filled with anger. She is shocked by his words, because deep down she knows they are true. Never was she there anymore, never did she come to him in times he might have needed her—because she was too selfish to think that she was the only one having a hard time. "Just LEAVE ME!" she screams.

Best friends

"You call yourself my best friend!?" he snaps back at me. "The last time I checked you ignored me," he starts to breathe heavily, "abandoned me." Jimin could feel his heart beatinga mile per hour. Never has he been this mad at her before, he made sure to always treat her with respect. "No Soomin, you are not my best friend any longer. You hurt me too much to deserve that title."

Such feelings - feelings in general - Soomin haven't felt in a long time. She had been like a robot: dull and lifeless, programmed to get good grades, eat and train - an everlasting circle she lived in. But she is too angry at this point to even care. "just LEAVE ME!"

"Jimin!" Soomin calls the blonde haired boy. He's already exciting the school building, but she want him to wait. "Hold up!"

Soomin runs towards the boy and grabs his forearm. "Wait for me!" she puffs.

He stops and turns around, recognizing her familiar voice. "Soomin? What are you doing here? Did your class already finish?"

"The teacher dismissed class earlier," she says with a grin on her face. "And then I spotted a blonde boy walking through the exit between the boring black heads."

He chuckles, knowing her weakness for his blonde locks. Then he decided to tease her a bit. "How did you know it was me?"

Soomin pulls him along to the sidewalk which leads to both of their homes. "I would recognize you anywhere. No matter if you rhair is blonde, brown, black or gray." She looks up at him. "You should dye it gray once though."

"Anything to please you, my lady." He smiled back.

Jimin calling his best friend "lady" was something normal between them. He had been calling her lady, and all other sorts of formal names, ever since both of them were young. It was just a silly joke that once arose due to a fancy dinner held by Soomin's family. As for her aunt's fiftieth birthday she and her parents were invited to a chic and expensive restaurant.

Soomin's mother told her that it would be a formal birthday party and that she should dress up nicely, so that's how the girl ended up in the mall. She felt like being trapped in the building and as she hadn't seen daylight for hours.

While her mother was dragging her from shop to shop to find the perfect dress, she, on the other hand, was doing nothing but complaining.

"Mommy," she whines, "why do I have to wear a dress."

"I told you multiple times, Soomin. Your aunt is turning fifty which is a great number and therefore she planned a dinner for the whole family. She desires everyone to show up in neat clothes and since it's her birthday you should not question, but do as she pleases."

"But I never said I wanted to go!"

"You are family too, it doesn't matter if you like it." Soomin's mother now starts to get angry and yanks her by her arm; but she is stubborn. With all the power her little body has she tries to resist her mother's strenght. "Listen to me carefully, you are coming with us tomorrow."

"But there are only old people there and I won't have anyone to talk with. I have to sit straight for the entire evening and reply so formal to aunt, granny and uncle. It's no fun!"

"Nonsense," her mother snaps. "You have enough cousins."

"Cousins who are over twenty, yes!" Tears start to well up in the girl's eyes. "They never show interest in me and tell me to go away."

Her mother sighs as she understands the problem. She tilts her daughter up and places her on a bench. "If I say that Jimin can come with you, will you stop whining?"

Soomin nods between her sobs, now relieved once she heard that. "Really??"

"Yes."

"Thank you, mommy!" She embraces her mother.

That is how she ended up sitting at a table with too many cutlery the next evening. She didn't know what to do with all those knifes and forks and which one to use. Her aunt then held a speech, but she wasn't paying attention. Jimin sat next to her and both of them stole glances at each other now and then and giggled softly. Adults around the children told them to stop it. Soomin listened, but Jimin didn't let the elderly people command him. Instad of obeying he copied them.

"Lady, please be quiet."

"Yah, gentleman. Leave the young lady alone." A random man, probably one of Soomin's uncles, scolded him.

"My apologies... lady," Jimin said.

This made her giggle even more. She put a finger in front o fher lips to tell him to be quiet but in vain as she herself couldn't keep her mouth sut as well. Both Jimin and Soomin burst out into laughter.

With Jimin by her side the girl felt at ease wherever she went.

Soomin bursts out into laughter when she thinks back.

Jimin knows that she is thinking about that one day and whispers in her ear. "Your aunt really looked like a Proboscis monkey back there."

Soomin tries to be stern and says: "You can't insult my family like that! She is still my aunt after all."

However, he sticks his tongue out and Soomin thorws her body into the boy's torso as she usually does to tell him in a playful way to shut up. But he does something unexpected: he wraps his arms around her and holds her. Soomin is flustered by his action and she feels her cheeks becoming red.

"Ji-Jimin," she stutters. "What are you doing?"

"Holding a precious little lady," he holds her firmer and nuzzles his nose into your brown hair, "who thinks she looks like an actual lady, but at the same time still chuckles at every silly joke I make."

she doesn't know what to do. Jimin has always been a bit clingy, but this felt different. She can feel his toned torso through the thin material of his shirt and she feels a bit overwhelmed by his action. He might not feel the same, but the way you lay in his arms comes across as quite intense for brown haired girl. Maybe because no one has ever touched, or held, her this way - in that respect she is the greatest virgin ever.

His strong arms, toned body and muscular thighs has attracted her since a while now. While Jimin is saying tat she changed from a girl to a lady, in your eyes he did too. Since about a year his once loevely chuby cheeks were gone and his jawline sharpened. She didn't know when he changed into a man, but it seemed as her hormones were suddenly turned on like a switch when she noticed.

Never had she felt that way beforee and, to be honest, it scared her. Feeling that way towards her best friend felt like she betrayed the trust and friendship the two had built up all these years. So Soomin tried her hardest to conceal it, but every time she would look at his face she would drown in his eyes. And like her hormones weren't wild enough already, he started to hit the gym. Jimin was in perfect shape and it was a bit too much for the virgin girl.

Also being able to feel every twitch of his muscles right now didn't help much to conceal her true thoughts.

Finally he lets go and Soomin let out a breath she had been holding. "You look happy today." She tries to change the subject so she can think about something else.

The boy shyly smiles and Soomin knows she's right, but Jimin doesn't say anything back.

"Why is Jimin happy today?" Soomin cooed.

He doesn't respond and suddenly has become quiet. Soomin doesn't want to push it so much and in silence the friends walk home. When Soomin arrives at her appartement building she waves Jimin goodbye as he continues to walk to his own.

"Are you still not going to tell me what the cause is of that smile?" she yells from across the street.

He shakes his head mischievously.

Soomin turns around with a pouot and enters the building.

Jimin jogs to his own apartment after he had dropped you off. When he enters his room he throws his backpack at the side of his bed and starts to unbotton his uniform shirt.

Due to Soomin's mindfulness she always notices a change in someone's behavior. And so she didn't miss the slight change of your best friend's behavior too - and as he was your best friend you could often read him like an open book.

Jimin had been smiling the whole day, becauswe he felt like he was in heaven. Yesterday he asked a girl he has had a crush on for two months on a date and she had said yes. Though he had planned evereything already, he is insanely nervous. This would be his first date ever and he wanted to have the girl to have the best time of her life tonight. He would first take her to the park and then treat her on the best ice cream in town. And as the icing on the cake he has made a reservation at the restaurant so they could dine at candle light.

He sprayed some perfume and grabbed his favourite white blouse. After he'd changed into his clothes he looked at his reflection and held his hand through his hair. From his back pocket he drew his phone and texted his crush.

Jimin
Wear something fancy

Yujin
okay
I'm looking forward to tonight :)

Jimin

Soomin saw that Jimin is online and decides to send him a text.

Soomin
Jiminie~~~
Will you tell me now what it is that makes you so happy???

Jimin
Aish Soomin
When will you stop being so stubborn?

Soomin
It's simple
I'll stop once you tell me, so there's no reason to be stubborn
Simple as that.

Jimin
You are honestly a handful

Soomin
-_-

Why did he act so distant suddenly? Soomin decided to drop it and focused on her studies. It was almost exam season and after that she would attend a college near Busan. It wasn't a really fancy college and she wouldn't have to invoke her mother's bank account.

Three hours had passed and Soomin's eyes are itching from reading and your back hurts too. So she decides to take a break.

It is almost 5:30 PM and Jimin is ready to go to the park. With a white rose in his hand he heads out to the park across from his appartement building. He is whisteling to distract his thoughts a bit.

When he turns around the corner he sees the most beautiful girl already waiting for him. Instantly his smile grows wider.
