Everything is meant to be, you can’t change fate or what is chosen for you. I think I believed this since the first day of my life, until this exact moment.

I’ve always thought that everything we’re living is meant to be or it’s supposed to happen somehow, that when something bad happen in our lives we just should deal with it and not try to change it or to make it better. Then, it hits me. Actions, efforts, habits, attitudes...we choose them, we act through them, if we want, we can change it either it’s a bad person learning to be a good one or a bad one learning bad habits from bad people that themselves learned from other bad people which made them what they are now, and so on.

We are who we want to be. We are the people we choose to be with, the places we visit, the music we listen to, the books we read, the shows or movies we watch, the people we frequent, the subjects we study, the sports we practice, we just are the choices we make.

Each human being has the touch of his own personality, you can be manipulated by others or choose to manipulate others by your own creativity and sight of life. Facts are we have choices in life, that we take or let go, it’s up to you and your true self, and these are the things that decide if you’re smart enough and can be successful or you just ignore it and move on with your “Interesting life”.

No matter how many researches are made about how the brain works, we still not going to know everything. Everyone is selfish in his way, you’ll always prioritize yourself among others in any way, you won’t feel it because maybe you’re that kind of people that is kind and gentle with everyone, generous and helpful, but there’s moments in life when you’ll want to be ahead everyone else and have better than others.

First love, that’s yourself. Being able to love your own personality and way of being is what going to make you love somebody else. Acceptance, positivity, optimism, consciousness, and standing up for yourself are the main characteristics that helps build a strong unbeatable personality. Then you’re going to be able to impose your own opinion, choices and so far, it can maybe be the most satisfying feeling.

Being able to do the things you love is a way to happiness. Sometimes, there’s moments in life when you have stressful anxious things you must deal with in your life that you even forget what you love the most. You start hating everything around you, these little moments that made you happy once you find them now useless, when going with your mother at the grocery store and buying your favorite candy was happiness for you back then. People grow up, their qualifications get higher too which makes them look always for more and going to the grocery store is no longer bringing them the smile but madness. You’ll never find a proper definition of happiness, because that great feeling depends on each person and how they think. Happiness may be just new clothes to a sixteen-year-old girl, but another girl with the same age is still discovering that feeling and having something new is just an update in her life.
