Summary

Be Yourself, don't let them take that from you. This story is about me, and it's about the time where I needed my friends most.. The time where I was being hurt, and the time where I was telling my heart.. What path do I take. The right path to take was being myself and being free, but I only let the feelings and drama put me in a tiny box, where I couldn't move, and when I believed in myself, I realized that I was finally able to be myself, love myself, hug myself, and especially, be who I was destined to be, and that's me.

Chapter One - Pilot

Before I begin my story, I want you to know my pain, my heart, my feelings, and all of the tears that I've been forced to cry. It was any normal day of school, well.. My 11th birthday. It was October, my birthday was on the same day that I thought my life would change.

My mom dropped me off at school, same as usual, I then went over to my "squad," Bryanna, Jennifer, Kaylee, Savanna and Jessica. Everybody said happy birthday to me, I was so blessed. I thought I had the best friends.. But I was wrong. As my friends and I play tag, a boy comes over and just.. stares at me.. I knew that he was knew because one, nobody stares at people like that, and two, I didn't recognize him.

I went over to him, "Hello, are you new here?"

His mouth was open, "I'm Braedyn, you are very pretty,"

I blushed, "Thanks?"

I chuckled as my friends came over, I thought we would all get along, but a week after Braedyn came to Halsted Middle School, we all wanted him to.. Go away.

What people found disturbing was the fact that he kept following people, acting like people, claiming he was popular, but when he was really annoying. He started copying the clothes we wore and the shoes we picked out at stores. Even during Halloween, he would copy.

The worst part was that he was always right next to me. Whenever I hanged out with other friends, he would get pissed, and confront me, in front of them, it was like I belonged to him, like he owned me like some whore, some slut who thought she had a "sugar daddy", but what slut would belong to a boy who acted like a bitch.

I looked at him with curiosity, every time I do something invlolving friends, he wanted to come along, and I totally knew what he was going through. It was hard for him to make friends, and even the simplist problems made him pissed, especially my problems. He would constantly claim that he was better than me, he would trip me where I had bruises on my knees and legs.

And what triggered me most.. Was when he would yell at me, and make me cry, he would say sorry five minutes later and he forgets about it, like it never happened. He would say racist things, and he would scream like a girl like he would shout at a concert. The noises he makes, it runs through my head until I wanted to rip my hair out of my head.

When the bell rings, after math class, I would back my things, and literally, sprint out of the classroom before he would trip me in the halls, and my friends all saw this happening to me, and they knew exactly what to do, but they didn't know how I felt, and what I felt, was the moment where I wanted my best friend Keaton.

Walker of the Dark: Short but definitely intense and amazing. Rage and Aspen were amazing together and I am glad to see a woman who is strong, determined on what she wants and well connected as a bonus.
