The Son Of Aphrodite

Chapter 1- Destiny

“You played with me!” Taehyung screamed at the elder male standing in front of him.

“You changed my destiny, you- you used me for your benefits and now you are telling me that it’s my fault! How am I at fault in this? You out of all people should know I hate liars! You out of all people should know that I hate cheaters! And still you lied to me. Still you cheated on me! How could you? You fucking asshole!”

The fragile hands of the young demigod were strengthened by the rage and agony that was coursing through his veins. He was summoning the power of the hearth, the hearth of Heaven itself. One of the perks of being a son of Hestia. He grabbed the collar of his better half and pushed him against the wall. The sound of the head of the male hitting the concrete of the wall echoed in the empty room that they were in.

“I-I am sorry” the other stuttered lightly but it was audible enough for the angered demigod to hear. He bent his head down in shame, regretting the words that had escaped his mouth that had upset his mate.

“You’re sorry?! Have you got any idea how many lives you played with! How many times you were warned but you never listened!” Taehyung was now clawing at the other, making blood ooze out where his nails had dug into the laters skin.

The temperature of the room was slowly rising because of Taehyung’s anger. His inherited powers were coming into play. Soon the temperature of the room became unbearable for the male who was being clawed at. He started sweating and his skin burned like fire. The air itself was embedding deep burns in his skin. The pain was agonizing for him as he screamed for help.

“Ask for help baby but you ain’t gonna get any” Taehyung smirked as he let go of the other demigod making him fall on the floor and wither in torment. “Scream Jeongguk, feel the heat, this is what I am feeling right now! I may be immune to the flames but a fire is burning inside me. A fire of pure hatred, a fire of revenge.”

“Suffer Jeongguk! You deserve punishment. You don’t deserve my love or anyone’s love. I hate you Jeongguk! I hate you so much!”

“I told you I am sorry,” Jeongguk said, his voice breaking because of the immense throbbing in the burnt area of his skin.

“Your apology doesn’t do me any good you liar. I have had enough of your bullshit! You altered everyone’s life! Made them do things that they regret!”

“You made me do things I regret,“Taehyung mumbled under his breath.

Tears were now flowing from Taehyung’s eyes. Even though he was angry he could not see his destined one in pain. This made the connection that he had with his mother break causing the temperature to fall down drastically.

Jeongguk inhaled sharply filling his oxygen deprived lungs with some air. The sight of his lover crying because of him was far more painful than the burns on his milky white skin. He tried to stand up but groaned when he couldn’t.

He wanted to explain everything to Taehyung but the younger wouldn’t believe him. He wouldn’t believe that everything he did was to make Taehyung fall in love with him. But he couldn’t explain anything and he couldn’t tell anyone else. He had already broken the sacred laws by telling Taehyung, he couldn’t break them again.

Taehyung on the other hand couldn’t take it anymore and dashed out of the room to the corridors of his school. He ran as fast as he could to the nymph pond where he found his Yoongi hyung.

“Hyung,“the son of Hestia said in a low voice to the ravenette sitting at the edge of the pond.

“Taehyung-” he said but the younger cut him off by hugging him tightly.

“Wh- what happened Tae? Why are you crying?” the elder asked concerned.

“J-jeongguk confessed hyung, h-he accepted that he altered destiny.”

This left Yoongi confused and intrigued at the same time.

No one had ever altered destiny before but it seemed as if a certain son of Aphrodite had accomplished it somehow....
