Prologue
“Remember carefully what I’m going to say next.” I gulped trying to look for a place to escape while avoiding to look at the eyes staring in front of my face.
“You shouldn’t involve yourself with me. Be cautious because you can’t trust anybody.” he said whispering that sent a shiver through me.
“Even you?” I’m surprised that I can even talk straight with our close proximity.
“Especially me, sweet.”
Colleen Katherine Vineyard is already contented with her life. A family she can depend on, enough friends for this lifetime and all the books she wanted. Or so she thought. One day, after arriving at her favorite class for the day she met her greatest challenge.
Peter Raul Ferguson. She makes her goal to avoid guys like him. She believes that guys will only bring conflict to her already peaceful life. But what will happen if she will have to deal with him for two weeks?
