Prologue

I am not a writer by profession. I have not written any novels. But there are thoughts. At one point, these thoughts accumulate to form a story, it is something, which when formed, cannot be kept bottled up. Often, we find things that we believe are mysterious. But the most mysterious of all things is the human mind. It has its own ways and it has its ways all the time, every time. We do not know that every time we get our way, it is our mind that has made us do things its way. There is literally no one enslaving us. We are enslaved by our own minds. We set our boundaries and think they are our barriers. Let us break out and find freedom, whose gates are a little far away from our comfort zones. But it is worth trying.

My book is dedicated to all those wonderful women who have fought their ways to reach high places in this world, and to those who are struggling every day to break free and it is also to those heroic men who have made a path for us so that we can climb and go higher. Feminity has different faces, different boundaries, and different strengths. Labeled as weak, feeble, delicate and vulnerable, women have every strength to stand by themselves in any situation. Women are bound by the fear that they cannot fight back. It is this gripping fear which fuels men to cross their thresholds. Once the fear disappears, then not a man will have the courage to abuse a woman.

This is a story is based in Chennai centered around the Suburban train network. Four women, from different walks of life, find themselves in a difficult situation on a train. How will they react? How will you react to a difficult situation? Will you run back to the comfort of your life or take a step further and stand for yourself? Will you fight back?

For God knew, that the brutalities of men would know no boundaries,

He placed the gift of birthing in the His feebler creation.

Had He not, the meanest of men would have tasted

the flesh of the last women centuries ago
