Prologue
Have you ever met the greatest daydreamer of all times?
If you thought that was you quit dreaming, that title has an owner and that’s me. Gosh... that sounded so rude and arrogant. Where are my manners!? I’m so sorry, that just showed how much of a clumsy ass I am. I did not call myself like that, it was actually my mom. I would rather describe myself as dramatic, loud, clumsy, kind-hearted and plain girl with a huge pocket full of dreams, but that would be too long. So I just stuck with daydreamer (yeah you guessed it...I’m lazy too). Okay I’ll stop with the rambling, let me introduce myself first.
Hello y’all my name is Ivy, an average girl living an average life, I know... how cliché! But the thing is that I utterly believe that life is much more than that, it’s an amazing and exciting adventure. And I know, I know what lots of you must be thinking “Girl stop it with all that positive vibe blah blah blah” or “k.... tell me where’s the fun on having to do an essay due to Monday? Or going to the conveniencie store with -40 euros in your bank account?” and the answer is that I have no clue, but I just can stop thinking that there’s something delightful on the fact that we exist.
Hey! Don’t you even dare to judge me! Being a daydreamer is hard enough... those daydreamers here can relate. But just picture for a moment being the greatest one of them all.
The popular belief says that us, daydreamers, we are people that don’t want to acknowledge reality, we're always kind of living in the clouds. Yet is quite the contrary, we do acknowledge it but we also have the ability to see beyond that.
It is absolutely amazing, the fact of being able to appreciate the details of life. We can easily switch off our mind and connect ourselves with what I like to call ”The In between“: basically those are the things that no one normally notices.
Daydreamers are not just absent minded people. We are explorers of the unknown.
Even so, there is still things we miss. We get to notice The In between, but it doesn’t mean we can actually understand it. That knowledge belongs to the box of God’s mysteries, which complicates everything. To the point that....this daydreamer right here never thought that the line between dreams and reality could be that thin. Not until He appeared.
