Due to the courtesy of clumsiness
Kim Seokjin’s day went fine all day today. He didn’t bump into his bed, doors, tables, any teachers, or anything else. His clumsiness didn’t emerge today, and that alone was enough to make him happy.
The fact is that Kim Seokjin is incredibly clumsy, and from his childhood, there wasn’t a day where his clumsiness didn’t show its face. Moreover, Kim Seokjin started to believe that it was his lucky day.
Kim Seokjin walked to his last class for today, hoping that his clumsiness wouldn’t ruin his class. He opened the door and entered into the class gracefully.
The male and female students stood up greeting him, as he greeted them back with a smile. His smile was enough to let the female student’s hormone go crazy, and male students to get jealous or probably crush on him.
But, no one dared to make a move because everyone was warned by Kim Seokjin himself that he might be handsome, but he has no interest in some teenagers, so, it will be best for themselves to use their time studying.
“Today, you all have a surprise test,” Kim Seokjin announced, making all the students groan.
Yells of protest were heard in the room, indicating that most of the students in this class were unprepared for the test. Kim Seokjin’s eyes went to the back of the class by the window, where Jeon Jungkook sat.
In Seokjin’s opinion, Jeon Jungkook was one of the good and most innocent boys in this school. Unlike any other teenage boy, he didn’t run around, skipping classes and finding a new partner to satisfy the hormones.
He always sat at the same place, went to the library and sometimes part-time after his school day, completed his homework, and most importantly, always remembered to properly attend his classes.
“I did say there was a test this month,” Kim Seokjin stated, earning loads of excuses from his students.
“No excuse is going to work, and I suggest you to quickly quieten down because you’ll be getting no extra time.”
The whole class stopped talking loudly at that, but there were still murmurs going around. Kim Seokjin ignored the murmurs and started to hand out the papers.
The class fell into silence, as the students started doing their individual paper, and Kim Seokjin had his eyes wide open to search for any signs of a cheater.
Luckily, no one attempted to cheat, and even if anyone did, they didn’t fall in the sight of Kim Seokjin. Soon enough, the bell rang, indicating that the class was over.
“Everyone, time is up. Leave your paper on your desk and exit the class in an orderly way. Class president, collect the papers and bring them to the desk.”
After saying that, the students exited the class, discussing the answers whilst Jeon Jungkook began collecting the papers. Kim Seokjin leaned down to pick up his fallen pen when Jungkook poked his shoulder.
“Yes,” Seokjin said, turning back.
However, at this point, everything messed up. One of his best days turned into one of his worst days.
His foot tangled against his chair, and he lost balance. He managed to fall down on his student, Jeon Jungkook. However, that wasn’t the problem.
The problem was that his lips were upon Jungkook’s lips.
Kim Seokjin, realizing his situation, immediately stood up and was tremendously embarrassed by what just happened. Blush covered his cheeks.
“I’m sorry,” he repeated multiple times before Jungkook stood up and placed his hand on top of Seokjin’s lips to stop him from apologising anymore.
“You don’t need to apologise anymore,” Jungkook said, removing his hand and looking down. “However, it’s not okay.”
“I’m sorry once again. Is there anything I can do if it is possible for me, to make it up to you? I didn’t mean to do that. My clumsy self just messed up.”
“That was my first kiss,” Jungkook says softly, increasing Seokjin’s regret. “I wanted it to be with someone I would date.”
Seokjin looked down, not knowing what to do in this situation.
“But you can make it up to me in one way,” Jungkook said, looking at Seokjin and smirking.
Seokjin ignored the smirk that played on his face and asked, “How?”
“Be my boyfriend,” Jungkook suggested with his smirk growing.
“Boyfriend?” Jin questioned, almost chocking.
“Yes, Seokjin Seonseong-nim, I want you to be my boyfriend,” Jungkook said, leaning closer to Seokjin, causing for him to back away.
“Mr Jeon Jungkook, stop playing around. Are you aware of what you’re saying?” Seokjin stated, trying to be composed but failed with all those nervousness evident in his tone.
“I know that you’re not straight, Seonseong-nim.”
Seokjin failed to hide his rapid heartbeat due to the lad being so close to him. Seokjin’s concern wasn’t that the lad knew he was gay; it was the fact that how this lad made his heartbeat.
“I suggest you move a bit far. This position is very much misunderstanding.”
“Why? After all, I want you to be my boyfriend,” Jungkook said, feigning innocence and leaning closer.
“Jeon Jungkook, I can’t be your boyfriend. I am your teacher, and you’re my student. I am not interested in some kid. As for that kiss, it was a mistake and nothing else.”
“If that’s the case, then why are you staring at me like this?” Jungkook questioned.
Jungkook was right about that. Seokjin’s eyes continuously diverted to the male’s plump lips, and he had thoughts of how they would taste.
“It’s nothing of that sort. Get off of me.”
Jungkook backed away, allowing Seokjin to stand properly, and voice out, “Even if it wasn’t for you, it was my first kiss.”
“But I can’t be your boyfriend,” Seokjin replied calmly.
“I wanted my first kiss to be with my boyfriend. And now, my childhood dream can’t come true,” Jungkook said, faking tears in his eyes.
“Fine.” Seokjin sighed. “I’ll be your boyfriend,” Seokjin answered, not wanting to see the male cry. After all, it was his fault, and he needed to repay it.
A smile played on Jungkook’s face, and he replied, “Thanks, seongsang-nim.”
Seokjin’s heart sped up at that, not due to nervousness, but because of how happy and cute he looked.
Jungkook walked out of the classroom, and Seokjin knew what he landed himself into all due to the courtesy of his clumsiness.
