It was as if he had a different tone for each word. Whoever had taught him English seemed to have a spit personality. "We have to find a priest" he told me suddenly. "Now." "Why?" I cried. "Are you going to throw me a funeral after you murder me?" "No murder" he laughed. "We will marry." "What? Are you kidding me?" I asked incredulously. "No, I am carrying you" he replied with an eye roll. ( BE WARN: This story is laid back chill story created when I was a teenager. ) All Rights Reserved 2018

Chapter 1: IKTMP

NADJA

"Excuse me, is there anything wrong?" a security guard asked from behind. I spun round, batting my long black eye lashes and using the sweetest of smiles. He smiled back, melting before me ever so easily. Sometimes I wondered why I was a single twenty-five year old...

Oh wait, I know why.

"No, everything is fine. My friend just saw a spider and freaked out" I replied softly.

"Yeah, she's a bit of a drama queen" Jenn agreed with a smirk.

"I am not!" Crystal moaned and folded her arms over her inflatable fake chest. "I just hate spiders with all those hairy little twitching legs and ugly faces."

The security guard chuckled lightly and slowly shook his head, from his head fell a couple of flakes of white dandruff that was once buried in his grey wiry hair. "Carry on ladies; it's great to see the youth are interested in history. We just don't have much of you these days and the place is becoming lifeless."

"It's our pleasure" I smiled. Finally he left, chasing after some little girl who had touched an ancient vase with her sticky chocolate covered fingers. "This place is lifeless? Never" I murmured. After all it was the all there was left in the tiny town.

"Oh my God!" Jenn cried suddenly to my left. I spun around, seeing Crystal storm into the male's toilet. Perhaps she would never return...

However moments later she joined us again with gloss freshly applied to her lips and a spring in her step. "I got somebody's number" she said proudly. "And he was the only one in there."

"Lucky you" Jenn grumbled. "That dare was made to torment you, not get you another date."

"What can I say?" Crystal giggled. "I'm irresistible!" She turned back to me, her eyes filling up with a fire that was out of control and ready to burn. "And now It's your turn Miss Nadja and I have just the dare for you."

I swallowed hard but unable to back down from the dare I followed her through the the Egypt exhibit and looked around nervously as she conjured up a devilish dare to torture me with. "Mercy, I dare you to" she started as she swayed over to a long golden cascade in the middle of the room. There she held the red velvet robe and glanced over into the coffin case of the resting mummy. 'Prince Adelram' was his name, he appeared to be a young man whom suffered a mysterious death at a young age and didn't get his throne.

"Kiss the mummy" she finished with a wicked wink.

"Ewww!" Jenn cried and she jumped back from the dead prince. "Crystal, that is just disgusting!"

"I know" Crystal purred proudly. "So do it Nadja, or are you a chicken?"

I glared at her, knowing she would never let me live it down if I didn't kiss the mummy's dead and decaying lips. So I made my way over to the mummy and lent over the rails.

"Pucker up!" Crystal sneered. I rolled my eyes and tried to drown out their laughter as my face came closer to the dead prince who was wrapped in layers of cloth.

"Here it goes" I muttered. "You'd better not make me sick, Adelram". I told the prince quietly. Then with a deep breath I lent in dangerously close and pressed my lips lightly against the remains of his and planted a quick kiss to the prince's lips.

"She did it!" Jenn cheered. I pulled back and wiped my lips quickly, tasting what can only be described as death and decay.

"I can't believe it" Crystal murmured. "She actually kissed a mummy."

"Did you like it?" Jenn taunted letting out a laughed.

"I don't advise it" I scoffed. "That thing tasted awful, I can't believe why they used to put them in medicines."

"I think it's safe to say you've won Nadja. I wouldn't want to see what's worse than kissing a mummy" Crystal said. She lifted her bag from the bench and slug it over her shoulder, ready to go and find something else to do.

"Come on then girls" she ordered. Jenn followed her, however I just wanted to get one last look at the mummy I'd just kissed, after all it wasn't everyday that you got to see a mummy up close, never mind kiss it.

As I looked down a pair of bright blue eyes stared back up at me. Slowly, he winked at me. I screamed loudly, jumping back from the mummy and falling into someone's arms. "Nadja, are you okay? Did you see a bug?" Jenn asked, confusion written all over her face.

Thank God she'd caught me! There was some statue with a spear standing a couple of feet away.

"Y-Yeah, I saw a bug" I lied quietly. "Let's just get out of here."

Well, I couldn't exactly say that the mummy winked at me...even though he had. They would think I was crazy! but maybe, I'm just hallucinating because I'm so hungry. As a cue, my stomach grumbled.

The girls heard it and they chuckled at me, saying that we should probably grab some meal. And we did.

The thought of the mummy winking at me bothered my mind, but I chose to shrugged it off. So I kept it to myself and just enjoyed the rest of that summer's afternoon and night, returning home a lot later than planned.

Little did I know, as I slept peacefully, the mummy far from my mind, there was much more to come.
