The Cave of Miracula

It left a empty seat in King Amr’s Knights of the Round Table. With her being the only child she was ask to take his place on the Knights. With her becoming in her own of being a advent heartless and has proven her worth time and time again. Oh and those unfamiliar with heartless. Heartless are human being born to hunt supernatural creatures like demons, monsters, witches, etc. They have a immunity of all monster infections and a heart shape emblem which lights up and give them a slight sting when something unnatural is near. Well that the a brief summery, but anyways back to the main plot.

As she was dealing with the death of her father and repositioning herself for her new role as the Warden of the ruling land of Brasil just like her father. The family of Cortes have come from a long line of royalty in their homeland of Spain. In which Javier was ask to join with Amr’s knights. In which he did and became a member of his Round Table. And now that honer has pass down to Madelena. She was having a hard time adjusting to her new job. But she must as it was her swore duty to protect her people. One of her duty also include finding out who poison her father. As it was reported her father was found near the Cave of Miracula. She was still sadden by her lost. It wasn’t till one of her soldier come in saying that Prince Idris, son of King Amr was here to escort her to Camelot for her initiation. She grab her coat and meant down stairs with Prince Idris. She see him with his armor and red velvet cape. With his sword in it hostler. He stood there conversing with some of the people. He had short blond hair. Even tan skin with blues eyes. He look over to Madelena.

Idris: Hello Condesa Madelena. I’m here to escort you back to Camelot.

Madelena : Oh I see. I’m sorry Prince Idris, but I can’t at the moment I must attend to some matters.

As she walk out of the castle. She knew she had to go but she couldn’t. As she begin to cries. The distraught hit her. And the hole hit knowing her father was gone. But she couldn’t sit here and wonder what happen. She had to figure out what happen. And she was. She gather up supplies and was going to head to the Cave of Miracula. And see what happen. She got on horseback and was about to head out but is stop by Prince Idris.

Madelena : Yeah he was great. But after my mother died. He changed. Like he was hurt in a way that was unseen. He push everyone away. Even me. I remember I hunted my first phoenix and he was so proud of me. He made the cooks make extra dessert. We never ate so much. And now when I look at my home. I know he not there. He gone and he never coming back. Before Idris could say something,. She shout out they were here. She said the cave only allow one person to enter at a time. She got off her horse and walk into the cave. Seeing the wonder it hold. It was a diamond encrusted cave. It was full of bright shines of the diamonds that were embedded in the cave. As she head deeper in the cave she hits a large diamond field on top of the celling of the cave with a waterfall that flush a purple color liquid. She had no idea what it was. She was going to go over and touch it. But she is stop by a Sphinx. It came out from the shadows. It spoke with a very feminist but a low monotone voice that had a sort of crackling in it. She look over to the Sphinx. Fearing that she was the one that killed her father.

Madelena : You killed him! You killed my father!

“ You must be his daughter he spoke of.”

Madelena : He told you about me and you still killed him.

“ I did nothing. He was a trouble man and I gave him a choice to end his suffering. After the death of his wife. He was nothing but a shell of man. And I gave the choice to be free from the past. And he chose his fate!”

Madelena : And what was the choice?

“ If you look over to the pool of liquid that is where it lies. He drank from it and ended it all. Ending his loneliness. Ending his pain for once and for all. I’m sorry child. She look over at the purple waters. Thinking in her head. As we flash to Prince Idris patiently waiting for Madelena. As he was just waiting. And as he look to the cave opening. He saw her coming out. And she was heading back to him.

Idris: Did you find out what you needed? Closure?

Madelena : Yes I did. And I understand. Sometimes a strong person must over come what they think could end them. And I will be that strong person. My father was strong but he met his match with something he couldn’t understand. But I will over come it. For him and my mother.

They both nodded and head back to her castle as they prepare to head to Camelot. And She was ready for her duty. And She was stronger for over coming what she feared would be the death of her. Thus becoming something stronger and a better person for it. For fear is only real if we allow it to be. Thus we must be brave to over come our own personal demons.
