Chapter 1
"Happy birthday" my mom wished me by hugging me tightly. I responded equally but soon our quality time was interrupted by a stern voice. Guess who? My Dad.
"I believe it’s my turn now ",said he by pulling me into a hug and followed by trailing kisses on my forehead. He held me by arms and I gladly wrapped my arms around his waist.
" Your an year older now, congrats my child ”,continued he and suddenly breaking the hug with my dad I jumped on to a guy who held me by my waist and twirled her and said “ happy birthday princess “ ,though she was happy much but she showed some fake anger too.
“My princess I’m extremely sorry look i have also held up my ears, ok fine i m ready to do sit-ups too as punishment” , said my bro John . I mumbled a giggle and again threw my self on him
and warned him not to do late night works. He gently took me into the hug making me feel protected and smiled at me as an assurance then again i was pulled by my another brother , Joe
Holding my hands put them on his neck and started dancing and twirling me. i just looked astonished as he always has a unique style on wishing on my day and today was no less than others.
“Today you are looking so beautiful, smart, kind, young and I’m proud of you, after all you will be revealing your face today isn’t it..?I bet you’ll rule it..” I just let out a laugh and he again continued by wishing me happy birthday and passing me to my elder one John
It was a happy moment. I had tears in my eyes, after all I m a girl and I’m meant to be emotional isn’t it ? my both brothers were the one who first noticed it and quickly making me sit on sofa
and by looking at me with disbelief as they knew I’m crying coz of happiness.
"You know mom had warned not to tell you but we are,(giving a pause) she is making your favorite waffles that too with extra chocolate” are the words which these two told me...
then i was bought back from my waffles world as John bro pointed me to look at my little brother he’s never an angry young man but he’s always an hungry young man. Me an brother John looked at him, thinking if he going leave us too something to eat or no he is only going gobble all of it.
Joe looked at us and exclaimed “Yummy...very yummy”. We indeed had a good family time.
