I liked the style and the love between our two main characters. Especially that of Johanna. She is a very strong protagonist and female lead. I am very interested in what his author can come up with next."

"it was full of details which made it a very slow build up for the average reader....but if you are a person who can visual using words it was beautiful....the story between the two was "primal" to say the least...as she was anything but the typical woman and anyone meeting her definitely would not see "queen" material if the eyes was the only way to determine value....but after finding her legs and support from a great specimen of "man" she came into her own....and won it all...crown, love, family, man....through the most base primal attraction"

The twists were nothing like what I'd have expected and I'm very happy the writer made the reader and Johanna understand she wasn't cursed. The passion was great and I truly love how strong the female characters are in this author's books. I love how Samuel was the mental strength this little fireball needed."

"I love how this book started out exactly as Controlled Sex. It kept the series together without being forced to read book one first. I love Johanna's innocence and fear while being strong and forceful. I love how she doesn't need Samuel to protect her but still needed him to love her. He was her mental strength while she dealt with her own demons. I wasn't expecting the twists this book had or the idea of how to save her island. Perhaps world leaders should take the author's point of view into consideration and act on them. Way to go DT Jones. Once again, an outrageous story!!"
