Experiment

You already know me, I am going to brutally honest. I hate you. I always have, people like you are fake and don’t deserve happiness. How do I know this?

Because I am just like you.

The autumn air chilled me to my bone, I could feel the freezing concrete beneath my feet through the thin layer of my shoes, the brisk wind stung my lungs as I inhaled and my eyes burned from the frostbite.

I stuffed my hands into my pockets the tips of my fingers ice, nibbling my cracked lips I stared at the giant house sprawled out before me the windows staring down at me as the light glared at me angrily the dark oak door shrieked as I opened and the maiden that was dusting a table just nodded at me, the only acknowledgment of my resistance from anyone.

Climbing the golden rimmed stairs awakened my frozen muscles as I passed the dining room to see my father waiting in front of a plate of food, across the table was another plate of food. “Please darling,” he spoke in a sickly sweet voice. “Come, eat dinner with me. We haven’t spoken in a while.”

I tensed, I haven’t eaten with my father since I was thirteen, I’m sixteen. Hesitantly I moved my feet to the table setting my backpack beside the table I sat in the chair and picked up the fork slowly keeping eye contact with him making sure it wasn’t poisoned. Then I took a bite of the juicy steak.

The meat was soft against my teeth and I swallowed it picking a bit out of my teeth, I looked up through my blonde hair to see my father staring at me with his kind silver eyes his salt and pepper colored hair slicked black as his soft features helped him bed many women.

I have his eyes but my mother’s hair, it was beach blonde when I was younger but it has been darkening over the years, my father says when I turn twentyish it should be almost a black color, I told him it would be the color of my soul. Though he only took it as a joke.

Standing my father frowned and stood also wiping his hands on a napkin before setting it on his plate. “Please darling drink your water, you’re looking terribly dehydrated.” I don’t care, I thought the hollow feeling washing over me. I picked up the glass and down the water setting it down I picked my bag up and walked out.

Throwing my bag in the corner I could care less about homework, my limbs have felt like dead weights since I woke up, I haven’t had a good nights rest since I saw my mother die in front of me, she had a seizure and when she fell the knife she was cooking with stabbed her through the head. I held her as she bled out.

I was young at the time, but I understood the concept of death and that if you lose enough blood you will die. So I sobbed as she said goodbye.

Collapsing into bed I curled up tears streaking down my face, I stared at the ceiling. Sleeping is a struggle for me, even though I absolutely tired in the morning, my anxiety keeps me up at night. This is a process I have gotten used to.

Time wasn’t on my mind as I fell asleep but I knew it was late as darkness claimed me.

I awoke with nausea sloshing in my gut and I jumped up throwing myself to my bathroom before I hunched over my toilet throwing up my dinner from the night before. I stared at the black vomit in horror, then it crawled up my throat more and I vomited, once more vomit left my mouth.

I heard my door open and padding on the carpet behind me before a hand grabbed my hair and pulled it back as someone patted my back.

“It’s ok darling, it’s ok,” My father spoke softly as he drew circles into my back, another wave of vomit left my body, then another and another. Then I was just gagging. It felt as if something was tugging at my stomach as it wrapped around my heart and veins as if it was another layer to protect me,

Pain flooded through my body like the fibers of my body were being torn apart, I screamed in agony as I could actually hear things tearing inside me. I heard cracking and snapping and as some were being ripped apart others were being pieced back together by something, it felt as if something was trying to take control of my thoughts, trying to voice my train of thought onto a new railing.

“Lynel!” My dad screamed and I threw myself away from him crashing into the counter my toiletries crashing to the ground, I screamed as the thing tugged at my spinal cord and wrapped around it and when it tightened its grip on my spinal cord my urge to fight against it left, my pain drained away taking my emotions with them. I looked at my father his silver eyes shining with fear. “Lynel are you alright darling?”

“Fine,” I spoke stretching out my fingers and looking at them, they looked different, I felt as if I had just shed a new skin and finally seeing myself for the first time. I felt amazing, I felt as if I could run thirteen miles and barely be out of breath. “absolutely fine. Thank you, father.” My voice sounded void and sarcastic, it didn’t really sound like me. It felt as if someone was playing my vocal cords like a harp and forcing my voice to speak but it was out of tune and couldn’t get my voice right.

“Are you sure?” He asked again his brows creasing, I nodded looking in the mirror behind him, my silver eyes had black lines expanding from my pupils and laying across my iris, I looked hungry, but the only thought in my head was blood.

“I’m fine,” I growled my fist clenching, I could almost imagine his head in my palm, I imagined I was crushing it with my bare hand.

He nodded and said. “Ok, but if you need anything you know my room is always open for you.” I nodded forcing my muscles in my legs to stay still so I didn’t lunge forward and tear his eyes out. He left shutting my bedroom door with a click.

I fell to my knees, and began crying, crying so hard I didn’t even have tears rolling down my face, when I stood I realized I wasn’t crying. I was laughing, with a big smile on my face, a smile so big it hurt my face, it looked real. I looked happy.

My laughter grew menacing and horrifying and I fell back to my knees so hard they definitely should have shattered, I clawed at my face loving the sting my nails gave me as they dug into my skin. I screamed with laughter, then began punching the tile floor, blood soon ran down my knuckles but not before I had almost completely punched a hole through the ground.

I could hear my dad shouting from the other side of my door, but I never left the bathroom to lock it, my door broke off its hinges and as soon as my father’s eyes met mine I slipped into darkness.

A horrible nightmare took the advantage of my sleep.

Running, I was running I noticed as the trees were a blur around me. I was moving far too fast for my legs to carry me this fast, I was moving so fast I had no doubt I was outrunning cars on the highway, if this wasn’t a nightmare I wouldn’t have believed this.

Though when I looked over my shoulder at the red blur chasing me my shoulder was sleek black and when I looked down my breasts were gone replaced with a sleek muscled chest, a man’s chest. My legs were also a man’s legs and sleek with the same black substance, I didn’t have human feet they were strange taloned feet. When I brought my hands into my view they were gigantic taloned hands, they looked sharp enough to rip apart metal with ease.

Whatever was chasing me caught up and tackled me and I screamed in agony when pain shot through my shoulder, my scream was horrifying and sounded alien and I rolled over and sank my long razor sharp teeth into the red creatures neck, it howled in the same alien voice and I was yanked from the nightmare my adrenaline pumping.

I was in a hospital, and I had a napkin on my lap along with a pen and I had written something onto the napkin.

That was written exactly word for word on the napkin, I frowned so deeply at the napkin I thought I had sowed my eyebrows together.

My father walked in and frowned at the napkin, “Why did you ask for a napkin and pen just to write a comic line on it?” He asked leaning on bed railing.

“I-I didn’t write it, I only just woke up.” I defended myself. My father looked at me aggravated as he gripped the railing so tightly his knuckles whitened.

“Don’t lie to me! You are seriously sick and it’s all my fault! I could have mentally killed you!” He shouted tears rising in his eyes.

“What do you mean?” I asked anger rising in my gut as I gripped the pen tighter, what the hell is he talking about? “What did you do to me!” I screamed since my father is a scientist he has to test his experiments, but he swore on his life that he would never experiment on me, he never would break that promise, never. No. Not after mom.

He was sobbing, sobbing so hard that he collapsed, he fell to his knees his hands supporting him. “T-the water I wanted you to drink, h-had a cure to depression in it. That was the most developed serum, the other ones actually helped cure patients, I wanted to make sure you were happy so I gave you an extra dose and mixed it into your water.” He cried out in agony.

Anger boiled in my gut, and I stood quickly, the needle in my arm pulled against my arm and I tore it out barely feeling a thing. “Stop!” My father cried and I shoved him back in anger, he stumbled back tears running down his face.

“You promised!” I screamed anger burning through my veins, the grip on my spinal cord tightened once again and my cells crackled and snapped with electricity lighting my body up with the amazing feeling of adrenaline. A crazed laugh left my lips and it became horrifying and I threw my head back and once more a voice that wasn’t really mine left my lips. “You’re going to kill her just like you kill the mother.” I could almost feel my vocal cords being played to a tune that didn’t match all to right causing this voice to leave my mouth.

“Darling, please! I was just trying to help you! I’m sorry I made it worse, I broke you’re sanity.” He sobbed into his hands and my hand moved on its on and snapped impossibly loud and bent at a terrible angle. My hand flew out and gripped his throat.

“ThANk yoU FOr LIIfeE,” My voice snarled, a weird rubbery black wire-ish substance wrapped around my forearm out of nowhere and tightened.

“What have I done you, my beautiful girl?” He choked out pain filling his silver eyes, more wires wrapped around my arm and my hand morphed to that terrifying black-taloned hand in my dream, I began crushing his throat. “What are you?” He asked his silver eyes slowly losing the life.

"We are Venom,” My voice snarled out before a crunch filled the room and life left him forever.

(This is my first fanfiction story and I wanted to put what I would do if I was taken over by Venom how he was created and how I might have been taken over by him.

I don’t own Venom or the cover, I do however own the plot, so please ask me if you may borrow any of my material before using it.

Thank You!)
