Gay for a Month | Jikook

“Truth or dare?” Taehyung asked.

“Dare,” Jungkook replied.

“I dare you to be gay for a month,” Taehyung smirked.

Jungkook thought: ‘Well...shit. I’m done for!’ “But, hyung,” Jungkook whined.

“No ‘buts’, Jungkook,” Taehyung said. “You chose dare. I dared you to be gay for a month. So, deal with it.”

Jungkook just watched the older male walk towards his apartment door.

“Oh, and, Jungkook-ie, the dare starts as soon as I give you the list of things you have to fulfill during the month.”

~The Next Day~

Jungkook walked out from the bathroom with just a towel on his waist. The bathroom was still filled with steam from his hot shower. As he walked towards his room, he heard a knocking on his apartment door. Only two words ran through his mind as he struggled to put on clothes, oh shit.

He quickly rushed out of his bedroom and ran to the apartment door. He quickly opened the door to see a smiling Taehyung and a shorter male. Taehyung bounced right into Jungkook’s house while the shorter male walked in.

“Oh, hello,” Jungkook said, and then bowed.

The shorter male bowed back. Taehyung stopped bouncing and looked at them, thinking, what the fuck?

“OK?” Taehyung said, half confused.

“Jungkook-ie, this is Jimin-hyung,” Taehyung introduced, “Jimin-hyung, this is Jungkook-ie.”

Jungkook looked at Jimin, but as soon as they made eye contact, Jimin looked down at the carpeted ground. Jungkook, not knowing what to do, scratched the back of his neck.

“Oh, right! Jungkook, this is the guy you’re being gay for!” Taehyung squealed as if it was not already obvious.

“Well then, I’ll leave you two to get to know each other. Have fun!” Taehyung said right before he bounced right out the door.

Jungkook closed the door and turned to Jimin saying, “Umm, make yourself comfortable?”

Jimin looked up as soon as he heard him say that. He nodded, following Jungkook to the living room. He watched Jungkook sit down, he sat down as well.

Jimin knew who Jungkook was. They had met a few times at a convenience store.

“Um, Jimin-hyung, have you eaten?” Jungkook asked.

Jimin shook his head while saying, “No. No, I haven’t.”

Jungkook stood up and scratched the back of his neck. He then smiled sheepishly saying, “I don’t really know how to cook.”

Jimin smiled, “It’s alright, I can cook food.”

“I mean, can I use your kitchen?” Jimin asked.

Jungkook quickly nodded, realizing that he had not eaten since he had woken up.

Jungkook walked to his small kitchen with Jimin following. The kitchen had white walls, a white refrigerator, white cabinets, stove, oven, microwave, one rounded table, along with two chairs. Perfect for the two.

“Have you eaten yet...?” asked Jimin, not knowing what to call the younger.

“Oh, you can call me whatever you want,” said Jungkook. “Oh, and I didn’t eat yet.” He sheepishly smiled.

Jimin walked over to the refrigerator. “Can I...?”

Jungkook, knowing what he meant, nodded.

Before Jimin opened the refrigerator door, Jungkook said, “I don’t really have much food in there. It’s pretty much kimchi, eggs, milk, and more milk.” Jungkook smiled like an idiot.

“Oh, it’s fine. I could just order food then,” suggested Jimin.

Jungkook quickly nodded not wanting the older, but smaller, male to see a messy fridge.

“So, Jungkook-ie, what would you like to eat?” Jimin asked.

Jungkook shrugged, “Anything. I’ll pay.”

Jungkook walked over to his room while Jimin was ordering food. Jungkook called his hyung, Taehyung. It took a few tries for Taehyung to pick up his phone.

“Hyung, is the list ready?” Jungkook asked. “I want to get this over with. Also, is Jimin-hyung sleeping in my apartment?”

“Yeah, Jimin-hyung is staying in your apartment. He is also sleeping with you.” Taehyung added, “In your bed, until the month is over.” “Also, about the list, I’ll send it to you and Jimin-hyung. Did you get his phone number yet?”

Jungkook groaned, “But, hyung, I don’t want to sleep with Jimin. He can go sleep on the floor for all I care.”

Taehyung gasped but was not surprised. Jungkook did not like to have people in his room. He preferred to be by himself, especially in bed.

“I’m sending the list right now,” Taehyung announced. “Also, once I see that you have seen the list the time will start. You will have a total of 31 days to complete the dare.”

“Hyung,” whined Jungkook.

“Don’t hyung me, Jungkook.”

“Ya! Ya! Ya!” Jungkook yelled into his phone. “OK, bye, Taehyung-ya.”

He ended the call and laughed to himself. As soon as he stopped giggling, the doorbell rang. The food’s here! Jungkook thought. He rushed out of the room and to the door. Jimin had already beaten him there. Jimin took the food, set it on the table, then payed the delivery guy.

“Umm, hyung? I thought I was going to pay for the food.” Jungkook said.

“Oh, sorry, Jungkook-ie,” Jimin apologized. “But as the hyung, I should be paying. Plus, since you have to deal with,” he pointed at himself, “I’ll make your life, umm, less miserable by paying for food and stuff like that.”

Jungkook nodded and walked over to the rounded table. He took a seat and Jimin followed.

“Thank you for the food,” Jungkook said.

Jimin smiled.

~After eating~

Jungkook sighed as he got up from his seat to clean. Jimin stood up as well.

“Oh, Jimin-hyung, Taehyung-hyung said that you were sleeping in my room.” Jungkook looked around, “Did you bring anything with you?”

Jimin shook his head, “Taehyung-ie said he would bring my stuff. I don’t think he’ll bring it though. He’s probably with some guy he found on Tinder.”

Jungkook looked around, “Follow me.”

He took ahold of Jimin’s hand and brought him to his room. He quickly let go and walked towards his closet.

“What’s your clothes size?” Just then, Jungkook looked at Jimin’s frame. He thought, my clothes are too big for him.

“Actually, I just realized that my clothes might be too big for you. Are you fine with some oversized clothes?”

Jimin nodded, “Also, I need some underwear...”

Jimin looked down. Jungkook sighed.

“You can go buy some clothes, underwear, whatever you need for the month you stay with me. I’ll give you some money,” Jungkook said.

Jimin looked up, “Oh, it’s fine. I can pay for my own stuff. I’ll be back in a bit.”

Jimin rushed out of Jungkook’s room. Soon enough, Jungkook heard the apartment door open and close. Now, he thought, How do I do this...

Jungkook took off his shirt to change it to a new one. As soon as he took it off, Jimin cam rushing back in.

“Sorry, I had to ask you --” Jimin was looking right at a half-naked Jungkook.

Jimin blinked a few times. He saw Jungkook’s perfectly toned skin, rock-hard eight-pack, huge biceps --.

“Jimin-hyung?” Jungkook quickly looked around for a clean shirt because he had just tossed the other on the floor. He ran over to his -- soon to be theirs -- closet, grabbed a white t-shirt, and slipped it on.

“Ah, sorry, Jungkook-ie,” Jimin apologized. “Would you like me to buy anything?”

“Snacks and milk.” He stuttered, “W-wait, I mean, you could just buy stuff for yourself. Don’t worry about me. Also, hyung, do you want to sleep on the left side of the bed or right? Or would you just prefer to sleep on the floor?”

Jimin checked his phone. He had gotten a message and picture of the list of things they had to fulfill during the month.

“Tae said I should sleep with you. Uh, I mean, in your bed,” Jimin smiled.

He liked the idea of sleeping next to muscle pig Jeon Jungkook. Not to mention, he did not like sleeping by himself. He absolutely hated the dark and a big, lonely bed. He dislikes sleeping on the floor because of how hard it is.

“Which side do you normally sleep on?” Jimin asked.

“I tend to move around when I sleep.” Jungkook scratched the back of his neck. “I’ll just, umm, sleep on the right? Yeah. I’ll sleep on the right side.”

Jimin smiled as he bounded out of the apartment.
