Summary

It's not hard to imagine a world filled with hate. We were already living in it. At least that's what Maia thought as she saw the opposition to the ra Water Crisis', food shortages, disease and overpopulation make a recipe for societal collapse. The Order of the Church is in control now and Maia must live in this new overly religious world to survive. In this new world we watch her survive through the trials of this new life. Maia will be Mai and this will be her story. Can she conform herself to being a straight white girl from Maryland and forget the side that makes her, her.
