Prologue
So many things happen in life. Some are sad, some are happy and some make you wonder if your life is worth living.
This is life.
What you go through molds you to make you the person you are today. You wouldn’t find yourself without going through hardships and being under pressure.
I didn’t know where I stood in life until I met him. I found myself with him. I found myself I after him.

Humming the tune of ‘One Dance’ by drake, I chopped the vegetables for tonights dinner.
I have been cooking a lot more lately since I have been alone for a while. It helps pass time. I enjoy cooking.
The sound of the doorbell pulled me away from the chopping board towards the door.
Wiping my hands on my apron I quickly flung the door open.
Not a wise thing to do for a lady staying on her own, I know. I just didn’t find the need to. This place has security around all day.
The hazel orbs that met mine made me squeal in delight.
His smirk followed my squeal as I jumped hugging his neck tightly.
“Oh my god!” I cupped his face. “You said you wouldn’t be back till Friday.”
“I wanted to surprise you,” he chuckled nuzzling my nose.
I giggled in joy and hugged him tighter.
“I guess it worked.” He hummed.
“I missed you so much,” I breathed into his neck.
Pulling away, he cupped my face and pulled my lips to his. His warm lips engulfed mine and we kissed. Our lips moving in sync passionately. Body tingling in delight as his warm palms pulled my thighs around his waist.
It always feels like the first time with him. Never gets old. We never get tired of each other. Our love becomes stronger everyday.

The sound of his heartbeat as I laid on his chest is music to my ears. His fingers combing through my hair soothingly, slowly causing my eyes to droop.
“I love you,” I mumbled with my eyes closed.
“I love you,” was all I heard before my body succumbed to sleep.
I want to hold onto this moment forever. I never want this feeling to go away.
But that doesn’t always happen. People change and life is never perfect. Something is bound to happen.
That’s why I held onto that moment for as long as I could.
