Prologue
The day we met!
It was the first Saturday in the month of July and probably the first rain of the year. Saturdays in Cambridge school were half-days. Students dressed up in their house t-shirts and white jerseys with the school logo. I missed the school bus that day. Dad dropped me at school just ten minutes before the start of the assembly. I rushed to the mess to grab a quick breakfast. Just when I grabbed a sandwich from the counter, the bell rang. It marked the start of the morning prayer. I sighed and sat down to have my breakfast. I knew I was late and would have to stand outside the hall with the late comers. What could be more worse than a sudden downpour while you are about to make your way to your destined place. Anyways I ran as fast as I could to make it to a nearby shed. That’s where I met this one guy who was about to steal my heart in the upcoming week.
