The beginning
''Why now?'', I whispered glaring at the girl who stood before me.
My black hair blew in the breeze as my blue eyes glowed red as fire burst beneath my fingers. I continued staring at Sakura.
''Stay,'' Sakura's command echoed through my mind. I tried moving my legs but instead I dropped on my knees. '' Well, aren't you a good boy'', She said while patting my head as Sakura lays her hand on my head black electricity drains from her hand.
''NO! JASON! '' young Camila and Emory yell in horror as Naraku pushes them away
Then, I lay my hand on Sakura's arm still trembling in pain, ''You may have little horns as the devil pointed at me, but I won't let you take them away'', Fire shoots out of my hands as it splits Sakura's body.
Naraku stares in horror at Sakura's body lying on the ground. He lets go of Camila and Emory's hands and runs toward Sakura's body, trembling. They disappear out of sight. ''Damn it'',I say. Then the sound of squealing echos behind them. They turn to see a little girl. ''Elizabeth'' I whispered.
Tears filled inside Elizabeth's red demon eyes, as her long thick black hair blew against the cold breeze. Then tears flowed out of her eyes as she trembled in fear. Her black cloths grew bigger to make her sprout wings as her demon teeth shook in fear, then she faded away.
Jason's eyelids sprung opened and quickly looked at Elizabeth who sat beside him. He let out the breath he didn't know he was holding in as his wounds returned him pain. '' Ow '' , he groaned in pain as he gazed at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth quickly turned around facing him '' Are you okay, you want me to get ice?'' Elizabeth stuttered
'' Nah, I will be fine ''
Elizabeth stared at him in disbelief,' what is he thinking' Elizabeth asked herself while squinting her eyes at the back of Jason's head as if she could read his mind. ' It's no use ' Elizabeth tells herself as she turns her gaze at the night sky, 'But I do know he will always be beside me , protecting me , and giving love and care my mother never gave for which she was a demon' Elizabeth smiled gently at the moon ' And I will care, love and protect him for he is only human for he cares for me and for he could let me suffer,' a tear rolled down Elizabeth's cheek ' but he didn't he took me in and treats me as if I am his own daughter '
''Elizabeth why are you crying , is there something wrong, did something happen ?''
Elizabeth turned around facing Jason, with happiness in her eyes, '' Thanks '' She said under her breath. '' Thanks for saving me from my dreadful past and... and'' Elizabeth burst into tears as Jason's hands raps around Elizabeth, '' And thanks for all the love you have given to me'' she whispered in his ear.
'' Oh, Elizabeth for what is bothering you,''
'' You gave love to me which my mother never cared for she would tare piece by piece of my body if I ever mentioned it for it was dreadful. For the anger in her eyes frightened me I never spoke only did what I was told but you... you would love me and treat me like i am your own... but ... but i will never be like you humans''
'' Jason, why is Lizzy crying ''
'' Yeah , why is poor Lizzy crying ''
'' Camila, Emory, come here. Elizabeth you will always will be treated as one of us but never will be us but that's why I like you'' Elizabeth looked in Jason's eyes and hugged him tighter as Camila and Emory came around and hugged Elizabeth and Jason.
