Love Story of 90

Summary

Love is such a simple word but can be very complicated. It is very easy to tell someone that I love you, but the question is do they really mean it. This story is about Meera who fall in love, but how do you know that it is true love? Can you really listen to the violins? According to Bollywood movies, that’s what happened when you fell in love. And, that is how Meera was growing up watching Bollywood movies where hero and heroine fell in love and the families go against them and they run away from the house. Growing up in India in 90’s was magical, asking permission from parents to wear jeans to college was a big issue, but we still think about those days and the little smile comes to our face and so many images running through our mind.

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Do not cross your boundaries?

Meera was seventeen years old when she saw Vivaan as they both entered the class together. When Meera saw Vivaan right next to her, her heart started beating so fast that she thought she is going to die or something. Meera went and sat on her seat and Ms. Sharma introduced the new student Vivaan to the class. All the girls started fixing their hair but, he just looked right into Meera eyes and said hello. Meera looked down shyly and thinking never heard a name like Vivaan so different just like him. Vivaan took his seat and looked back at Meera and smiled at her, but Meera ignored her. (even though you go to co-education school but talking to boys was a big thing in those days). For the next few days Vivaan was trying to talk to her, but Meera was ignoring her though she knew that she liked him too.

At home, Meera couldn’t concentrate on anything. Her parents were very strict because Meera is a beauty so, obviously, her parents are worried about her going on the wrong direction and ruining her life (And, that’s what every parent think probably until now, but back in those days again it was big deal). Meera’s sister-in-law Sakshi was her best friend and she shared everything with her. Meera told Sakshi about Vivaan that he tried to talk to her, but she ignored her. Sakshi explained to her it is no harm talking to him, but just remember her boundaries. Meera couldn’t sleep all night but was thinking her sister-in-law words that do not cross your boundaries. What does that mean? And, she starts thinking about that time when they entered the class together and again Sakshi’s word was haunting her. What will Meera do? Will she talk to Vivaan or not? You have to wait for that guys!!!!
