Chapter 1
Mary was sitting at the park and scrolling through her phone when she could feel someone starting at her. She turned back to look who it was and to her surprise it was her ex-boyfriend, Jake. Mary did not want talk to him since their relationship didn't end on a good note. Mary turned and ignored the fact that he was staring at her. A few minutes later, she felt somebody tapping her shoulder. To her shock, it was Jake, Mary didn't know what to do and stood up and walked away. Jake shouting out Mary's name but she was already gone.
When Mary could no longer see Jake when she turned back, she slowed down and started wondering what he was doing there. When she reached home, her boyfriend, Anthony, was opening the door for her.
Mary and Anthony had been dating for almost 7 months before they moved in with each other. They were bestfriends in college and all they need was time to figure out that their relationship was more than just friends. Mary and Anthony first met each at Mary's sister, Sandra's 20th birthday party. Mary was all alone in the party and Anthony walked up to her and handed her a drink. And that was the start of their friendship.
As Mary went inside her home, Anthony asked her what was wrong and she shrugged her shoulders ad told it was nothing. Anthony sensed there was something wrong and didn't wish to ask her again if she doesn't feel like to tell him. It was date night for them and Mary went upstairs to get ready while Anthony was cleaning up the mess he had made earlier while making cupcakes.
After they came back home from their date night, Anthony went upstairs to change and Mary was locking the door behind her. "BUZZ" "BUZZ" rang the doorbell, Mary opened the door and there was a huge man standing, dressed up in black from top to bottom. Mary asked the man who he was and could hear Anthony coming down the stairs and shouting "Who is it, honey?" The stranger finally spoke out and took out his hoodie. Anthony couldn't believe his eyes, it was Jake.
