But, just what is "normal"? And how can someone have a "normal life"? That's what she yearns for, a normal and simple life. A life not filled with burdens, pain, and suffering, or constant teasing. Just a life where she can be happy for more than just a few years at a time; a life that is filled with good memories and people who care for her. But, how much does a child's life have to be filled with pain for them to want to change it? A lot. But, just how difficult can a child's life be? Hard. How much of it can be filled by burden? A ton. How much of it would the child wish to change? All of it.

It was a moment my parents and family would rejoice for the rest of their lives.
The moment in which a first daughter, niece, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter was born.
The moment that should be surrounded by happy memories that could be carried throughout the child's life.
All of those memories that died as soon as I opened my eyes.
