PROLOGUE
They took everything.
How does it feel to kill someone and live?
Or
How does it feel to be alive being dead?
It must be painful. It must be excruciating. The pain, the anguish, the hurt. It becomes unbearable.
How does it feel to be wanting to scream but cannot?
Why?
Because the throat is strangulated.
How does it feel to be wanting to breathe but cannot?
Why?
Because the lungs are collapsing with the pressure.
How does it feel to be wanting to bleed but cannot?
Why?
Because the blade that pierced, neither move nor can be removed.
How does it feel to die without dying?
How does it feel to live without living?
Inconceivable
But they made me...
Live it
Every day...
Every night...
Every hour...
Every minute...
Every second...
I am living with it. I will live with it.
Why?
Because there is no other way for me.
I cannot breath
I cannot speak
I cannot rip my heart
I cannot remove that sword
Because I want to remember...
The voices that echo
The screams that roar
The nightmares that lurk
The faces that haunt
The memories that burn
The truth that hurts
I cannot live. I cannot die
Not until...
I did and they paid
I sowed and they reaped
I slit and they bled
Until then... I just cannot.
There is nothing but one thing.
Thoughts; keeping me sane
Thought; keeping me alive
Thoughts; becoming my drive
Their nightmares will tear them. Their screams will bleed them. Their reflection will haunt them. Their memories will char them.
Their recapitulation will be admonitory.
There is nothing for me and there won’t be. They took it all away. Now, it’s my turn.
They took my freedom
I will take everything.
They will know the meaning of killing someone’s fear.
I will have my revenge.
wow.. you are one hell of storyteller. it is all beautifully written. The characters and their emotions, the friendship and their 'die for eachother attitude'
the livelyness and the sadness, the togetherness and the longingness, the playfulness and the darkness, just amazing. M sure many of us go thru the similar emotions you portray in ur stories.
