I woke up covered in sweat from the dream of my grandmother warning me to find my so-called husband. I looked at the clock and read that it was already 7 am. I let out a annoying sign before getting up. I get up from the bed and directly went to the bathroom to take a shower and calm myself down.

When I came out and looked in the mirror, I noticed that the mark on my neck was only getting more visible by the day. The mark on my neck was given to me by the God of the Underworld (Satan)

I looked at myself one more time in the mirror and released a sigh.

"Out of all the people in the world, why was I the one chosen to have this mark," I mumbled while looking into mirror.

I changed into my school uniform and added a scarf to hide the mark on my neck because I didn’t like it.

I stood by the bus stop and waited for the bus to come while waiting I began to read her 15th book on the devil. Suddenly, a luxurious car stopped directly where I was sitting. I lookup to the people in the car.

"Hello, Ae-ra." He waved at me from the window of the car.

I looked at the voice coming from the car only to see that the person who spoke to me was

TAEHYUNG.

"Oh! Anneyong (Hello) Taehyung." I slightly bowed and noticed that he was with his friends Jungkook and Jimin. Jimin is in the driver’s seat, while Jungkook is in the passenger seat and Taehyung is seating in the back alone.

“Come on, we’ll give you a ride to school.” Taehyung leaned towards the open window, but I could see that Jungkook is really annoyed with Taehyung’s proposal.

"Aniyo, gwenchna (no, it’s okay)." I looked at Jungkook.

"Ahh... Let’s go." Taehyung came out from the car and dragged me inside of it. It was so sudden that I did nothing but follow him.

I was now sitting in the car and felt uncomfortable with them. I could see Jungkook glaring at me with an angry face through the mirror, while Jimin gave me a sweet smile.

Taehyung notices the book I am holding and points it out to me.

"What is this?" He asked, pointing to the book I hold.

"It’s nothing,” I stated while holding the book to my chest, so he wouldn’t be able to the title of the book.

Everyone at school looks at me suspiciously because I am always reading books; not because I like them, but because I wanted to know more about them.

“Ahh it’s the book on the devil, right?" He looked at me to confirm his assumption.

"How do you know about that?" I asked him because I was holding the book so that no one would be able to see the title of it.

Now everyone was looking at me with confusion and shock on their faces.

"Why are you reading that?" Jungkook spoke to me for the first time.

"Actually, I like these types of books," I stated and Jungkook just looked at me and nodded.

The entire drive, Taehyung was talking to me while Jimin drive silently and Jungkook just sat there annoyed with our talking.

As I see the school coming closer, I get out of the car. I thank them and walked into school while the other three stayed in the car.

Jungkook Pov.

We all were sitting in the car while watching Ae-ra walk into school by herself when suddenly Jimin hyung started to talk.

“I feel suspicious about her," Jimin said while watching the back Aera continue to walk to the front doors.

"Really?” Taehyung turned to look at him.

"Did you see anything?" Jimin asked me and I shook my head.

"I didn’t see any visible mark on her body. I don’t think she is the person we are looking for.” I looked at Jimin hyung to see him upset.

"We already looked at every girl in this school, but you still haven’t seen anything. How are we going to find that girl?" Taehyung stated angrily.

"That’s not my fault hyung. According to father, he said that she is studying in this school and is also in my class, but I can’t find her.” My blood was boiling, thinking of how I searched everywhere for this girl and still can’t seem to find her.

"Calm down guys, we will find her.” Jimin tried to comfort Taehyung and me.

"But why the hell can I not see the mark on anyone’s neck.” I can’t believe how hard it is for me to find this person, we have already been here for 3 months and still have come up with nothing.

"Anyways, I’m getting off. Ae-ra must be waiting for me." Taehyung grabbed his bag when Jimin hyung suddenly spoke.

"She must be your crush." Jimin teased Taehyung.

"Yes, she is. I hope I will be able to marry her.” Taehyung giggled.

"You have the best taste. She looks like an angel. She really is beautiful." Jimin told Taehyung who started to blush because of Jimin’s comment.

"Wow. A demon in love with an angel.” I teased Taehyung. He looked angry with my sudden confession.

"You better shut your mouth." He said, and I chuckled at his reaction which only angered him more.

"She is not as pretty as Lisa.” I could see that his orbs began to turn red which could only mean that he is really angry.

“Fuck off Jungkook." Taehyung got up and left the car. Jimin hyung and I started to laugh at his reaction.

"Jungkook-ah." Jimin looked worried.

"You must find the girl before she dies. You know that if you don’t find her, you won’t become king after your father. You only have a week left." He said and patted my shoulder.

I must find you before you die because if you die then I will never be able to become king and Lisa will never become queen. I want to replace you with her but to do that I have to find you.

"Let’s go and continue our mission." With that, I came out of the car and start walking towards the school entrance.

Your Pov.

I was sitting in the library reading my devil book.

"Demons have the power to kill a human in just a second. Demons are able to marry a human and transform them into a demon the first time they have intercourse. The human will then have a special power once they become a demon-”

I was reading the sentence written in the book but suddenly someone disturbed me.

"You are reading that book again." Taehyung pointed at the book in my hands.

"Actually, it’s my 15th book.” I could see that when I told him that, his jaw dropped.

“15th BOOK?!" He almost screamed so I covered his mouth with my hands.

Everyone looked at the both of us because we guys were in the library.

"Yah. Why are you so loud?" I stood up from my chair and took the book with me.

"I have class now. I’ll meet up with you later." I bowed.

I leave Taehyung alone in the library and go to my locker. I opened my locker but suddenly someone slammed it closed.

I look at the person to see it was Jennie. Yes, the girl who used to bully me. I look at her and she looks back with a smirk on her face.

"What do you want now?" I asked her only to see her chuckle.

"That’s a good question. Well, let me tell you what I want.” She pushed you harshly against the locker, the force making me knock my head against the metal lockers.

"Ahhh...” I groaned in pain it’s really hurt.

"Look at how weak she is." Jennie grabbed my wrist tightly. It’s true. What she said is true. I only am getting weaker by the day.

“I love to hurt you. But for now, I want all your notes because there is an exam tomorrow." Jennie smirked.

"I’m sorry, but I only have one copy of the notes." I tried to ignore the pain that was in my wrist from how tightly Jennie was gripping it.

"That’s not my problem. Give it to me now.” She tightened her grip on my wrist.

Suddenly someone started walking in our direction. Jungkook was holding his phone while his eye scanned something on his screen. Jennie notices him and let go of my wrist.

"Oppa." Jennie walked to Jungkook.

Jennie had a huge crush on Jungkook so she tried everything to make him ask her out. But Jungkook always ignored her. I sat on the floor with tears streaming down from my eyes onto my face.

"Why am I getting weaker?" I asked to myself.
