Mirror, Mirror
Mirror,
Mirror,
On the wall,
What is my greatest downfall?
Am I fragile?
Am I weak?
Am I a puppet to society?
Do I depict the wrongs of the world?
Please,
I need answers!
Am I just a symbol of sadness?
Do I illustrate the problems with society?
Do I mimic someone?
Do I imitate the bad,
The fat,
The ugly,
The weak,
The worthless,
Person people with were dead?
Please,
Just answer me!
Oh,
Wait…
You are just piece of
Weak,
Reflective,
Glass chips glued together
To look whole again…
Hopefully you last longer than I do.
All I can do is answer your call,
Look into the mirror
See the weaknesses
See the loneliness
Written on my face
Like a book
With a torn binding,
Folded pages,
Missing pages,
Only one layer of true protection
To shield you from the world and all of the hate
Good bye mirror,
Maybe forever.

I feel this poem. I am one of you.
