Chapter 1

(Katherines POV)

I remembered the first time I met you.

The first time I layed my eyes on you.

The first time I got to feel you in my embrace and felt like I never wanted to let go.

Its been 8 months since we’ve been ‘friends’. You don’t like it when I call you my friend because you say that were not. And I always act as if that doesn’t give me some type of pain.

What sucks the most is that your so hard to read. I’m usually a good reader as my mother likes to call it.

I can tell when a person isn’t OK or when they aren’t fine. But with you, its as if I’m reading a book with no words and only blank white sheets of paper.

I want to say I hate you hut I’d be lying to myself. You seemed so cool when I first got to meet you.

I see you around campus and my heart aches because even though your close, it feels as if you so far.

I hate that, not you but the feeling.

Its been 8 months since we met. And its been 1 since I told you I liked you.

And you didn’t like me. I hate feeling this way. So weak and having the desire of wanting you close.

I remember that day. A month ago.

"Hey Jessi can I tell you something?”

You looked at me with no emotion on your face as you nodded. I wanted to grab your hand so that I could lead you to the place where I would have told you that I liked you, but instead I just asked you to follow me.

When we finally made it to the end corner of the school. Near the very back. We were facing face to face. You looked bored. And I was nervous.

I looked down at my fingers. As I mumbled the wordsI like you’

You lightly furrowed your eyebrows in confusion but then you covered it up by rolling your eyes.

"I can’t hear you, speak louder"

I took a deep breath and looked up to you. Looking straight at you. And without hesitation I spoke.

"I like you"

The moment those words came out of my mouth I instantly shut my eyes. Not wanting to look at you. Not knowing if you were judging me.

When I didn’t hear you say anything. I slowly opened my eyes to look at you.

I saw you staring at me. Still no emotion did I see go through your eyes.

I finally saw your mouth open.

"Well I don’t"

And that’s the first time I felt heartbreak.

A/N I know it seems angsty but I promise it will have a happy ending (maybe) I honestly don’t know yet. But I hope you liked it so far. Chapter 1 will either be posted tomorrow or today later on. Bye loves till the next one
