Chapter 1: old annoyances
“AN: So this is chapter one please let me know what you think about it. see you in the next chapter”
Am not the most pessimistic person in the world but I do believe that bad things happen and even to the best people but that doesn’t mean that I expected this to happen to me.
My name is Barbara. I am 5,4 which means I am average height and short to most people of the world. Am a student of crest wood high and when school resumes am gonna be a senior. I have black hair and a body to die for - note the sarcasm.
Barb! My mom called- she is the only one who calls me that- get ready for school or you’ll be late on Your first day. I dragged myself out of the bed and walked like a zombie to the bathroom.
Did I mention that I am not a morning person? Someday am gonna build a time machine just so I can go back in time and tell whoever created “school” to make it start from noon. No kidding!.
After taking my bath I came downstairs for breakfast which is the only thing I like about mornings, alright you caught me I like food but who doesn’t?
High school is hell and one of the reasons I was so happy to be in my senior year was because I was finally leaving. Am not famous as you may have guessed but I don’t mind. I like being invisible because it takes away all the pressure and am not one handle it well. Despite this, I am not some weird kid with no life or friends. I have one friend and we have been together since diapers. Her name is Bella and she is like a sister to me. When my dad died and I felt like crap she was there for me and not once did she complain about it.
The school was packed when I arrived, there were people everywhere and some of them seemed happy to be back. Bbbbbbbbb! someone shouted and I immediately felt happy because I knew whose voice it was. I can’t believe you still haven’t thrown away that dress bell said. What? I like this dress it’s my favorite and I believe it’s my good luck charm I said. She pulled me into her arms and hugged the life out of me. Can’t breathe... Bell. After a few minutes of bell yapping about how awesome her vacation was and how much she missed me the bell rang and it was time for class.
Sadly this year things weren’t going as I wanted and we ended up having different class schedules and our lockers were far apart. So much for crushing senior year... bell murmured as she dragged her feet to her locker. With a sigh, I made my way to my locker and started arranging my books.
Closing my locker I came face to face with the worst person on the planet...... Alex.
