"Ximenna" the teacher called.
"Yes Mrs. B" Ximenna answered unaware that she was dozing off. Ever since she had heard the news about her mother wanting her to move in she hasn't been able to focus.
"Ximenna" she repeated "Would you like to come and finish the math problem?" Ximenna hated math and knew that she couldn't solve the problem so she shook her head. "Well Ximenna I would like to talk to you after class." Ximenna knew what that meant and she looked at her friend rachel who shrugged at her. Just then the bell rang. Rachel came over and whisper Good luck with HER. Ximenna smiled and walked up to the teacher.
"Ximenna" the teacher began.
"Ximenna what happened this time with the teacher?" Asked Rachel as they were walking home.
"Oh you know her speech about how You need to pay more attention in class and take it more serious and all her blah blah blah." Ximenna said. They were both laughing when Rachel's boyfriend Ryan snuck up behind her and hugged her around the waist.
"Hey boo" Ryan said kissing her neck. Rachel smiled and kissed him back. Ximenna saw and stuck out her tongue.
"Ew! I will give you guys some privacy" She said as she took off to her house. Her friend trying to say goodbye behind her.
"Hey dad I am home." Ximenna said patiently waiting for a reply. She got no answer so she went straight to her room and put on some comfy clothes and headphones. After rocking out for a few minutes she heard her dad walk in muttering to himself. "Dad are you okay?" Her dad looked at her surprised.
"Your home already?" he said still in confusion "How long i thought it was..." he looked at his watch. "Oh my i am sorry honey i must have forgotten about about the time and -"
"Dad it is okay, i know you have been really busy about Mom and -" Ximenna said as her dad came and hugged her. Soon after they hugged the doorbell rang and Ximenna went to get it.
"Hey Rachel what's up?'' Ximenna asked as she saw the worried look on her face. Rachel just looked at her than at Ximenna's father than back at her. "Lets go to my room."
As they got into her room Rachel sat on Ximenna's bed. "It is Ryan" she started. "He-he-he was" she hesitated "kissing another girl." The words barely came out as she started crying. Ximenna felt bad for her dear friend so she hugged her.
"Explain to me exactly what happened." Ximenna said regretting what she had just said. Rachel looked up at her.
"Do i have to?" Rachel said looking up at Ximenna. " I am not in the mood for that mess. Can you just make me happy?" She said sitting up. Ximenna sat there thinking. She soon got a smile that crossed her face. Ximenna pulled out her phone and decided to they should watch all the photos of them since 5th grade.
"Ximenna you need to get to bed." Ximenna had lost of time by then her and Rachel were laughing. Ximenna looked at her phone 9:18. Rachel saw and told Ximenna good bye.
"See you at school tomorrow." Ximenna said "Wait we need to do something really quick." Rachel turned around and smiled.
"Are we doing blockies?" Rachel asked. Both girls laughed as they blocked Ryan and said their goodbyes.
