Chapter 1
The silvery white wolf growled at the doctor. "Easy girl." He said. My foot was stuck in a trap and bleeding quite terribly. I had managed to stand on her three feet that were not injured. The doctor motioned to a teen boy that was standing close to him; "Scott, try to calm her down." Scott slowly walked toward the wolf. I growled deep in my throat. Scott changed his eyes to red, staring at her. His alpha eyes had no affect on me. He stepped back, shocked. "It's not working," he told the doctor. I thrashed again, trying to pull my paw free. I growled at Scott and the doctor to warn them to stay back. "Sigh...Scott hand me the needle out of my bag. I didn't want to do this," said the doctor. He stepped toward me with the needle positioned at my neck. I dodged it and growled fiercely at him. My paw had begun to grow numb. The doctor, worried about my paw, told Scott to grab me by the scruff of my neck so he could administer a sedative. I flinched as Scott went around me where I couldn't see him. I heard him moving closer to my back when I lunged at him. My paw was pulled out of the trap; tearing horribly at my skin revealing bone. I yelped and hobbled away. When I didn't hear them chasing after me, I laid down. There was a trail of blood behind me. I heard a rustle in a bush to the right of me, but I was already losing consciousness. I growled low in my throat, unsure of what to do. I was weak, I felt like I was dying. I staggered, getting back up and trying to walk back home. I heard a whoosh sound and the next thing I knew, I had a tranquilizer dart in my neck. As everything turned black around me, Scott and the doctor ran toward me as I fell to the ground, drifting off into darkness.
