Chapter 1
SCARECROW
A long-forgotten scarecrow is locked in a shed that sits quietly on a desolate farm. This particular scarecrow is in fact alive and very afraid to go outside. Once a year, on Halloween, he can leave the shed and walk the streets because he looks like a person dressed up in a costume. This scarecrow longs for Halloween night each year. Eventually, after many years, he tries to leave the shed permanently and live with the people. Will he find acceptance, or instead be destroyed for being a scarecrow?
