Chapter 1
"Ace! Get up!" I shouted as I whacked him with his own pillow over and over. When he refused to get up I whacked him some more.
"Ugh!Ok Mazikeen i'm up!"He yelled back at me. Smiling to myself I threw the pillow at him and walked out of his room leaving his door wide open. I walked into my room , closing my door behind me and took a nice hot shower.
Shampooing and conditioning my hair was easy.The hard part was combing this bird nest that I call my hair. It was basically impossible to comb out my hair outside of a shower , so I always brush it out when it's wet with shampoo. My hair was ridiculously long. It stopped at my butt when wet and it reached my belly button when dry.
When i was done combing it out I glided my wash brush through my dense , intense , thick ,black, extremely curly hair.I know its a lot of adjectives but its true.There is no other way I can describe it.When I was done ,I stood under the hot shower and watched as little clear beads fall off my brown tanned skin and onto the tiled shower floor.
I stepped out of the shower and grabbed my towel , drying off the water droplets from my body. Wrapping the towel around my body,I opened the bathroom door and let the steam flow out the glass door.I walked over to my dresser to pull out some black undergarments.
Walking into my walk-in- closet , I couldn't decide what to wear so I just went with a black lace up denim shorts, the one that laces up at the sides and shows some of my tattoos that I got over the years, I took off my underwear and put on the shorts, then a black round neck long sleeved lace up crop top , one of my black leather jackets and my black back ladder thigh high stiletto boots.
Walking out of my closet I say my german shepherd Lucky laying on my bed.I walked over to him to give him my love.
"Who's a good boy?"He gave me a yawn before turning on his back waiting for his belly rub, such a needy dog but I love him. When I was done I retrieved a treat from the stash I keep in my closet and I gave it it to Lucky.Heading into the bathroom I looked at myself in the mirror.
"Damn girl how you doing?" I began to talk to myself in the mirror like the weirdo I am.I laughed at myself and my foolish ways , I rubbed my hands together, "okay lets do this."I grabbed my toothbrush and squirted out the perfect amount of toothpaste on it.I played music from my phone and connected it to my speakers as I danced around my room like an idiot .
Once I was done I put on the maximum amount of make possible, some eyeliner ,blush , highlighter and a very dark red lipstick. I didn't need anything else because i'm just pretty like that. I left my hair out so that it could dry fast.I could use my blow drier but i'm too lazy to find it.When I was done looking at myself in the mirror , I called out to Ace.
"Ace i'm ready lets go!" No response. "Ace?" I tried again. Nothing."Where is that bitch?"I whispered to myself.Walking in his room is saw him sleeping.Again! I woke him up twice already.You know what ?Forget it , i'm not wasting my vocal chords on him. I walked into the kitchen ad grabbed a glass filled with ice water then walked back to his room and tipped the glass on his head.
"Why the fuck did you do that?!"I tried to keep my laughter under control, barely holding it down.
"I told you to get up half an hour ago , I woke you up more than once and you still went back to sleep! So now your gonna walk into that bathroom and shower .Okay?" I crossed my arms over my chest and stared at him , he stared back and that is how the staring test started but he broke it first.
"Fine .You act just like a mother"He sighed then got up heading over to the shower.
"I wouldn't be acting like one if you weren't acting like a child"
"I went to bet at two in the morning , I was tired"
"And who's idea was it to go to go partying all nigh when you've been told you have somewhere to be early tomorrow?"He looked like he wanted to explode but he didn't. Good boy
"Bitc-"He started
"Watch it" I said as my eyes flickered red and he stuttered.
"I-I mean beautiful little angel"He gave a tight smile and I almost exploded with laughter.I cannot control my emotions around this guy.My best friend.
"Thats more like it. Were leaving in twenty, be ready were taking bikes" I threw him his towel which he caught with one hand.
"Oh come on, can we please take the convertibles?"He begged but I haven't ridden my bike in a month and it feels like years.
"Here how about this ,I chose what we get to take today and you get to tomorrow and we go in that pattern?"He gave a quick nod as I walked out of his room and into the kitchen to see Lucky on the floor sleeping.So lazy.
I made myself some mint tea and sat on a chair on our giant ass balcony on my penthouse watching the sun rise.I sip my tea and start to ponder in my own thoughts about what will happen at school.I didn't even realized when Azier was standing in front of me waving his hand in front of my face.
He started to chuckle as I wondered why.I guess he understood my confusion." You've been sipping on an empty cup for five minutes"I looked at the cup and he was right , I blushed feeling embarrassed.He gave me his hand to help me up and I took it.
Ace was wearing a cool grey shirt ,black pants, black vans , his watch and his silver dog chain. He has green eyes and dirty blonde hair, and I have to admit he is handsome looking and any girl who he chooses must appreciate him.I personally don't think of him that way, I love him as a brother.
We headed into the kitchen and I filled up a coffee cup with hot mint tea and some sugar and covered it tightly.I grabbed my key and so did Ace then we hopped into the elevator together.We rode down to the ground floor and uncovered our bikes and stuffed them in the small storage space under the passenger's seat.He and I have the same type of bikes but different colors.Mine is black with a few dark purple stripes on the front and Ace has black and dark red.
We sped out the garage ,him with his helmet on and me without mine.It was probably a full 10 minutes until we arrived at school.My tea was in the holster and it kept jiggling and it annoyed the crap out of me. My hair blew in the wind as we sped down the road soon approaching the sign.We slowed down and turned into the gates of Eastlake High .
Once we entered every eye glued to me and Azier. We searched for a parking space and found two beside another bike each on one side. Ace took the left side and I took the right.We both got off and turned our engines off.He put his key in his pocket and I put mine in my laced bra.
"So I did some research on this school and I saw that everything was fine"He said as I sipped my tea, still hot almost burning my tongue.
"School's academic was up there ,getting medals and all that" I raised my eyebrows.
"That was before a guy name Lorenzo St.John came two or three years ago." He leaned against my bike and I stood in front of him sipping my tea.I didn't care that people were staring at us.
"Schools 'bad boy' apparently "He said using quotation marks with his fingers.He started to tell me some stuff that I find interesting about Lorenzo.
"He has a criminal record and is known for killing a few persons, causing fights that someone had to end up in the hospital ,by the way it wasn't him, once I read that he almost killed a guy because he looked him in his eyes . He's ruthless, brutal ,dangerous and he doesn't regret a single thing." Ooh, me likey likey .
"Well guess what he intrigues me , he is bad but guess what, were even badder. Anything he does we can do better and guess what, we won't care because we will show no emotion. Im not saying to flip the switch but act like you did." I kissed him on the cheek as he chuckles.
I pulled him behind me with one hand as I held the tea with the other hand.We stopped at the main doors and he slung his arm around my shoulders ."Remember act like you flipped it but don't actually flip it" He gave a single nod as I watched his facial expression change and so did mine. We opened the doors and walked through.
All eyes on us as we started walking down the hall and the mumbling started followed by whispers.I sipped my tea and strutted along beside Ace.We walked like that all the way to the office to collect our schedules.
Once we got that we had separate classes but only one class together.We both walked our separate ways as I looked for my algebra class in room 103.
I entered and there were few students in there , mostly with glasses.I took a seat at the window and looked outside sipping my tea and playing with my necklace.It said MAZIKEEN and it was a present from Ace and I still cherish it to this day.The rest of the students filed in as some looked at me warily.I heard a buzz from my phone.Its from Ace.

Do you wanna get detention on your first day?

It wouldn't really matter, i'll just leave.Its not like I have parents that they can complain to remember?

So i'll just come back , maybe bribe them you know?
"Miss Llandegazia please put up the phone"I internally groaned texting Ace a quick 'Cya, teach is here' and he responded with a quick bye.I was on the last sip of my tea savoring it. I got up to wash it out in the bathroom but as I was about to walk down the aisle I saw a girl stick her leg out exactly where I was gonna step so I stepped a few inches and missed her leg.
I quickly washed out the cup and told someone to put it in there bag for me since I didn't want to hold it plus I didn't bring a bag.
"Okay students today we have a new student who will be joining us for the semester" She motioned to me and I gave a quick wave to the class." Would you like to tell everyone your name?"
"Sup, Im Mazikeen Llandegazia ,I love the color black and I love riding my motorcycle.Any questions?" I asked a hand quickly went up.He was cute .He had a few dimples when he smiled and had soft brown eyes.
"Why are your eyes that color? Its not physically possible."He asked looking a bit terrified but not all that much.
" You see dear old dad made everyone's blue or green.With me now , he knew I was going to be a rebellious child and gave me these messed up eyes. Lets just say he was mean , now can we please continue with the class I don't wanna be in because i'd rather reek havoc on the earth with Ace"
"Excuse me Mazikeen what was that last part?" The teacher asked politely and I answered back a quick 'nothing' and some people giggled.
She went on and on about polynomials and all this non-sense up until the door busted open.The most handsome male i've ever seen in my eyes.
"Baby! "I heard someone yell wincing a bit. Having super hearing has it pros and cons, like eavesdropping but then you have things like that...
They started kissing but the teacher ignored them. I could hear everyone's heartbeat. Before this guy entered the class they were calm, now their hearts are begging to jump out of their chests yet they act so calm.
I looked away from them and stared out the window at the green grassy football field. It was super green and seemed to be freshly cut.I smiled a bit at the thought of someone cutting every single piece of grass with a pair of scissors. My smile suddenly faded as I heard a slight whistle come from the right side of me.
I rolled my eyes and turned around, looking at the same person who was at the door kissing the girl that tried to trip me.He had baby blues with black hair and a strong built , wearing a black leather jacket.I looked at him dead in the eyes, his ice cold blue ones looking right back at me.
"Yeah?" I asked with a bored expression, cold on the outside super intrigued on the inside.
"Get up, thats my seat" He said rudely and motioned to the chair I was currently sitting on.
"There are at least five or six other seats in the class pick one of those and sit on it"I said and turned back towards the window watching the trees sway in the wind.
"How bout you get your ass up and give me my seat"It wasn't a question more like a statement.I didn't even look at him but saw his reflection in the glass.
"I didn't see your name on it when I sat on it , so therefore it is not your seat"I shot back and heard a few gasps but I just rolled my eyes and apparently he just had to see. He gripped my shoulders and turned me around to face him and I winced.
He gripped my shoulders roughly and when he turned me around , he was inches away from my face. I saw a keychain hanging from his neck, one like Ace's but with a name on it. Lorena. I pushed him away, rolling my eyes , I about to sit a desk or two behind him when I stopped and turned around.
"Enjoy your desk Leather Jacket" I said before sitting a few desks away from him. I spent the rest of the class burning a hole through the back of his head.
The rest of the day went by smoothly , that was until lunch time. I didn't want to eat anything because their food sucked ass so I took out my flask out my jacket pocket filled with human blood. I needed my fix okay?
I left Ace with some girl in the cafeteria and went out under the big cherry blossom tree.I sat down at one of the blue and white tables and took out my flask, taking baby sips to save the blood for later.
I had the urge to smoke, I don't know why and I know its bad but I just need to .It's only bad for humans. I am not any of those pathetic humans. I smoked, I didn't get cancer. I've been trying to get rid of the disgusting habit by vaping , i've been off cigars for about two years. I took out my multi-colored vape pen and inhaled it.The strawberry flavor was my favorite.
As I breath out the white vapor, loving the smell and taste even though i'm not eating it. I only knew little vape tricks doing a few and smiling to myself. It took me months to learn that.
" Miss, you cannot smoke here, this is school and is smoking is strictly prohibited" Ugh, stick an acorn up my ass and call me Sandy. I turned around .The principal ? Oh well.
" Its not smoking its vaping.Totally better for your lungs than smoking scientifically proven. Cigars have a lot of nicotine and tobacco , this-" I said pointing to the pen." -is basically strawberry juice" I puffed out a cloud of vapor in her face.
"Wanna hit?" I asked her holding the vape close to her , she looked around warily before taking the pen and inhaling it coughing when she exhaled .
" Try again" She did it once more and got the hang of it , then I compelled her to let me vape on school property and forget that she ever vaped.She left and I blasted music from my phone , laying down on the table using my vape pen.
A few minutes went by and I smelled something I knew oh too well. Cigars. I sat up looking around to see who was smoking one and saw leather jacket smoking against the tree. We locked gazes for a split second before I looked away and scrolled through flinstagram but the smell of cigars was killing me. Just one puff, just one.
Standing up I looked at him and used my super speed to get close to him but then walked the rest over to him.
"Thanks!" I said and snatched the cigar out of his hand. He just folded his arms across his chest, not saying anything at all. 'Damn, what hot shoved up your ass this morning' was what i wanted to say but I refrained from doing so.
"I've been waiting so long for this" I said before I took a draw and breathed it out.
" Just like the good old days" I sighed and gave it back to him. He just stared at it then crushed it under his boot.
"Hey! You waisted a perfectly good cigar" It was very well crushed.
"Don't you ever do that again" He growled in a low voice.
"Or you'll do what?" I questioned him and took a step closer to him.
He pushed me up against the tree violently.
"Don't talk to me that way again and if you do , I will end you!"
