Part 1
Mira P.O.V.
Mom once told me those who believed in miracles would one day experience miracles. It’s been 3 years since we last talked. We met at Venice Beach, you were lost and I lent you my cellphone to call your friends. We did text a lot back then. I miss you a lot Zach, by means of “a lot”, it’s really a lot.
The day you told me that we should stop texting, my heart shattered into million pieces. How could you be so cruel? You made me fall for you and you left. At the day I met you, I believed in miracles. Miracles could be real, but if the price of experiencing miracles was losing you, I wish we never meet.
“Girl!” My friend Skylar yelled.
“What’s up?”
“Go check your Instagram.”
I unlocked and scroll through my Instagram feed. Zach and Jack commented on my post.
“How do you know these guys?” She asked.
“I don’t know them...” I lied. I didn’t want anyone knew that I once loved a terrible guy like him.
“But then they’re commenting on your post, suspicious huh!” She smirked.
“I may have known Zach by accident two years ago.”
“Oh my gosh how?! You never mentioned it to me. I’m your best friend girl!”
“We were at Venice Beach, he’s lost from the rest of the crew. I lend my cellphone to him and he called Jack.”
“So he managed to find you on Instagram?”
“I guess so, or maybe it’s by chance.”
“I don’t think so girl.”
“Uhh... Hi.” Zach greeted.
“Hey?”
“I have to explain why I didn’t text back. I really don’t mean it. I spent a lot of time searching you on Instagram.”
“Umm okay.”
“I was at a boat trip with the band, I dropped my phone in the lake. I couldn’t get it back.”
“But then Jack should have my number.”
“Yeah but he deleted it long while ago. I’m sorry if I hurt you. Can we be friends again?”
“Okay this is actually too much. I need some time.”
“Take as much time as you want to. I’ll always be waiting for you.”
“Thanks, talk to you later I guess?”
“Sure. Bye Mira.”
“Bye Zach.”
Zach P.O.V.
“Buddy what’re you smiling all the time?” Jonah asked.
“Because I’m happy.” I answered.
“Boy you are laughing like crazy.” Corbyn walked towards us and eating a burrito.
“Spill what happened?” Daniel asked.
“You guys remember when we first formed the band and I was lost in Venice Beach?”
“Yeah so what?” Jack asked.
“She’s the girl man!” I rolled my eyes.
“Our 17 year old has a crush on a girl.” Corbyn laughed.
“She’s not a crush Bean.” I said.
“Then who’s she?” Jonah asked.
“She’s just someone I like talking to.”
“Boi that’s a crush.” Daniel laughed.
“Ugh whatever.” I answered and walked away.
“He’s shy.” Jack whispered.
“Shut up!” I yelled back.
I turned on my phone and opened Instagram. I searched Mira’s name. I’d to admit she kinda mean something to me. I missed talking to her, but it’s been like a day since I lasted text her. Was she really that angry?
Beep
I checked my phone and saw Mira texted me.
Didn’t I mean something to her? Why would she want the boys to join our date?
Buzz buzz
“Hello?”
“Mira?”
“Yeah hey?”
“It’s Zach.”
“I know.”
“I arrived Venice Beach. Where are you?”
“I’m on my way. 5 more minutes.”
“Okay sure. The guys are here already.”
“I’m round the corner so see you in 5 minutes?”
“Sure bye.”
“Bye.”
I hung up and parked my car. I grabbed my stuff and locked my car.
I was walking and looking for them. Like today isn’t as crowded as before but I couldn’t find them.
“Mira! Over here.” I heard someone yelled, I turned and saw Zach.
I waved and walked up to them.
“Hey Zach, hey Jonah, hi Daniel, hey Jack, hey Corbyn and this is?”
“She is Ch-“
“I’m Christina. Corbyn’s girlfriend.” She interrupted Jack. She’s so rude. It’s not like I was going to steal her boyfriend.
I looked at Jonah and I could tell he’s quite pissed but he remained silence and Corbyn didn’t feel like there’s something wrong.
“Hey Christina.” I didn’t want to answer her, but I was so polite and civilized. Unlike her.
The guys and Christina were playing ball games at the shore. Me and Jack just sat under a big umbrella. We looked at them.
“Since when did Bean had a girlfriend?” I asked.
“Since 3 months ago.” Jack answered.
“You don’t seem happy about it.”
“Yeah. How do you know?”
“You’re like an open book Jack. Why ain’t you happy for him?”
“I mean you can see right. You also don’t like her. She’s so mean and always acting like a bitch.”
“Maybe it’s her personality?”
“Mira you don’t have to defend her. Everyone can see it. Like last time when we had a gig, she visited Corbyn secretly and they made out in the dressing room. Our manager’s daughter, Noelle, opened the door and saw them. She’s like yelling and screaming. But Noelle just stopped her by giving her a lecture.
“Drama queen.” I rolled my eyes.
“I know right.”

This is amazing
