(F/N) - Friend’s name

You were in your math class bored out of your mind. Your teacher was droning on about how to solve specific equations. With your head in your hand, you’re eyes slowly started drooping.

A piece of paper was hit against your head making you slightly jump from a sudden awakening. You glared at Jungkook who was smiling at his victory of waking you up. He mouthed the words “read it”. You uncrumbled the balled up paper which read:

Meet me and the guys after school :)

You looked over at him and nodded.

Boring Math and History lesson had passed leaving you with lunch. You were usually were the first to show at the lunch table but Yoongi (Suga) and Jin had beat you to it today.

“Hey, Suga. Hey, Jin,” you said with a small smile. Suga gave you a half smile and Jin waved at you before stuffing his face. Suga asked, “Have you finished your lyrics?”

“Yeah, do you want them now?” He nodded. I was rummaging through my book bag for my lyric book when Jungkook and Hoseok (J-Hope) came to the table laughing.

“What happened now?” Jin said with food in his mouth still. I gave a face at him which he ignored.

“Jimin-ssi slipped on the floor right next to you know who,” Jungkook said still laughing.

“It was cute,” Hoseok added. “She helped him up and they began talking.”

Namjoon and (F/N) came to the table with their food trays.

“Did you guys see Jimin slip in front of you know who?” (F/N) asked. Jungkook and Hoseok nodded with a chuckle.

“I bet he’ll get her number afterwards,” Joonie said. (F/N) smacked him on the chest. “What?” He said with fake innocence.

Jimin and Tae came to the table. Jimin’s cheeks were extremely red and it looked like he had been sweating. You got up from the connected bench and went to Jimin to see if he’s alright.

“How did it go with you know who? Besides the fall of course.” Jungkook teased. You rolled your eyes at his comment.

“Are you okay?” You asked softly. He gave you a shy smile.

“Yeah, I’m okay. She was nice about it. She even called me cute and gave me her number,” he said shyly and proudly at the same time.

“I called it,” Joonie said with a victory fist in the air. You all laughed at him.

You sat back down and your 3 year crush Taehyung sat next to you. He gave you a quick hug before sitting down like he always does. You two were the best of friends, besides Jimin, and you guys always goofed around and sang together. You really really really like him. The boys secretly knew you liked him because it was obvious, of course, but Tae doesn’t have a clue.

“You are meeting us after school today, right?” Tae asked. You stared at his gorgeous face for a few seconds before responding with, “Yeah, where are we going this time?”

“We haven’t all been on a little adventure in months so we should just do something... thrilling.” Namjoon said suspiciously.

I was looking at all of them trying to figure out what they were hinting at. Jungkook gave an evil like smile. “Six Flags.”

Hoseok’s eyes looked like they were going to pop off. “NO! NO ROLLER COASTERS!”

“Come on Hobi,” Jungkook whined. “It’ll be fun!” Hobi shook his head in fear and disappointment. You sighed because you didn’t want to ride on roller coasters either.

“Do we have to?” you whined. Tae hugged you from behind which made your heart beat a million times a minute. “Yes, you have to,” he said softly making your skin shiver.

“Hoseok, (Y/N), and Jin are the cowards out of all of us,” (F/N) said giggling.

“I am not a coward!” you defended yourself. “It’s just the height and the dropping sensations..” you shook your head just thinking about it.

“Well too bad! We’re going. Today,” Joonie said with the leadership role. Jin, J-Hope, and you groaned and whined while the others cheered.

“You’re lucky it’s Friday.”

After you guys paid off our tickets and got discounts from our saved coupons, you all stood by the biggest most scariest roller coasters in the late afternoon. Poor Hoseok was scared shitless; he was sweating and extremely pale. You went up to him and held his sweaty hand for comfort. Tae gave a strange look but, to you, it didn’t seem worth asking about, so you brushed the look away. Hobi smiled in appreciation of your attempt to calm him.

“What should we ride first?” Jungkook said with an excited smile.

“Let’s go in the Big Drop!” Joonie said.

“No! We can’t! That can’t be the ride we go first!” you yelled. You were starting to panic. You hate that ride so much, it makes you want to puke.”

“It’ll be fun!” Tae smiled. That adorable smile. You were starting to sweat just like Hoseok. No no no no.

They started dragging you to the line and you wanted to cry. You, Hoseok, and Jin, were linking arms scared for our lives. Mainly you because it’s your least favorite ride.

You all were in the front of the line now and your heart was jumping out of your body. You looked up and watched the people in seats go up slowly, all the way to the very top. It looked like they were in the clouds. The ride settled and then in a matter of seconds dropped 230 feet. Several screams shot out from the people making you even more terrified than before. They came back down and the ride man stopped the ride. People were taking out their seat belts and a blonde girl wobbled out looking as if she were going to throw up.

You put your clammy hands on your knees and tried to breathe evenly. Tae came up to you and rubbed your shoulders in comfort.

“I’m scared,” you whispered mainly to myself.

“You can cling onto me when we sit,” he said softly. You didn’t trust your mouth so you just nodded.

“NEXT!”

You wobbled over to back where there was no crowd to watch your terrified face. You climbed in the seat and locked the “seatbelt” onto yourself. Tae locked himself on your right and Jin on my left. He was holding Joonie’s hand, which is surprising since Joonie barely lets him give hugs in public. After a few moments, the ride began slowly going up.

“ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygosohmygod,” You mumbled to yourself. You quickly grabbed Tae’s arm and hugged it tightly. He was laughing which you ignored for now since you were petrified. You all made it to the top and the ride settled. You looked at the amazing view out looking the entire park and people laughing and playing games.

The ride made a sound and you grasped Tae’s arm like a lifeline. You felt your whole being and the forces of gravity go down and you let out a bloody murder scream the entire way down. It felt as if gravity was pulling your brain out of your head. The ride halted to a stop and all of your energy was gone. You just laid there while everyone was getting out of their seats. Tae’s gorgeously sculpted face appeared in your vision.

“Y/N, you okay?” He asked with a hint of concern. He lifted the “seatbelt” off of you. You just nodded your head and wobbled out. He grabbed your hand which you took. Your heart fluttered but you knew it didn’t mean anything to him.

“I thought I was going to die,” Hobi told the others.

“That was surprisingly fun!” Jimin said cutely. He smiled at his adorable ness.

“Let’s go!” Jungkook said with a fist in the air.

For the rest of the evening you guys played a bunch of games and went on the Vertical of the Lost City. During that ride, Hobi cling onto you, and you clung onto Tae who laughed out of amusement.

The boys were discussing which ride to go on before you all go home.

“We should go on Batman: The Ride!!” Jungkook said with pure excitement. Joonie, Jimin, Tae, and F/N agreed. The color from your skin lightened at the sound of the most scariest ride at six flags.

“NO! I REFUSE TO RIDE!” You yelled. Hoseok agreed with you.

“Jiiiiiin please ride with me!” Joonie whined. Jin went over to Joon and said, “You owe me.”

“Won’t you two join us please?” Tae and Jimin asked. You and Hobi shook your heads refusing to ride.

“It’s okay. We’ll just meet you in the arcade when we’re finished.” F/N said sweetly. You secretly knew she wanted to ride with Jimin because she liked him.

It was adorable.

You and Hoseok let out the breath you both were holding in.

“I’ll go get us tokens!” Hobi said cheerfully. You smiled at his excitement of doing something calm.

Tae came up to you while the others went to go in line. He grabbed your hand and looked at you in the eyes.

“I’ll come to you when the ride is done, okay?”

Your eyes burrowed in confusion at his weird stance. You nodded and told him to have fun and not die. He laughed before joining the others.

You and Hobi were having so much fun. You played almost every game at the arcade. You two were having a competition of who could win the most games. You were winning by 5 points.

You were laughing at him missing every ball in the hoop. He was terrible at the basketball game.

“Why do I keep missing?!” He laughed and shouted. You laughed even harder.

“Cause you suck ass at basketball!”

He tried to shoot a basket but the ball slipped from his hands and hit his head. You were dying of laughter grabbing his arms and torso because you couldn’t breathe. He, as well, was laughing at his ridiculous attempt to shoot. You wiped the tears from your eyes from laughing so hard.

“I’m going to go use the bathroom,” he said while giggling. He walked away glancing back a few times which confused you but you ignored it for now. You turned around to play another game when Tae came into your view. His cheeks were really red which you assumed it was the exhilaration from the ride.

“How was the ri--.”

He kissed you. His soft lips kissed you gently on the mouth. It felt as if you were in an empty room with just him and you there. He pulled away and sighed with content.

“I’ve been wanting to do that for a long time but I didn’t know if you had feelings for me or not.” He said softly, cupping your cheeks.

“Idiot,” you mumbled. He laughed at your comment.

“It was because I thought you liked Hoseok.” You furrowed your brows.

“Hobi is my best friend. I’ve had feelings for you for 3 years,” you told him honestly.

“J-Hope told me that he liked this girl in his Math class, not you. I was a bit jealous today when you were playing games.”

“How long were you standing there for then?”

He blushed. “Q-quite a while.” he stammered. Your eyes widened.

“How long ago did you get off the ride??” you questioned him.

“I don’t know.. maybe 20 minutes ago.”

“20 minutes ago? Where are the others? Did you tell them where you were going?” He laughed again at your sudden questions.

“I told them where I was going to be. I told them I wanted to kiss you and they insisted I do it in the arcade with you alone.” he admitted shyly. You smiled at his cuteness. “That is why Hoseok pretended to go to the bathroom.” He pointed his head behind me. I turned my head around and saw Hobi peeking behind a Mario Kart machine. He stood up and waved, embarrassed. You shook your head with a smile.

You turned back to Tae who was smiling with sparkles in his eyes.

“I’m glad you kissed me,” you blushed horribly. He grabbed your hand and pulled you closer, kissing you again.

“OOOOOO LOOK AT THEM!”

“FINA-FUCKING-LLY”

“SO CUTE!”

You heard shouts from the rest of the boys and F/N. You both turned red and laughed at their geekiness. You all walked out the arcade to go to the parking lot.

You left with Tae, hand in hand, a forever smile on your face.
